胴体のワイヤーを描く練習をしているところです。
このワイヤーは、商業作品を描くにあたって、気分の浮き沈みに関係なくコンスタントにある一定の絵を上げていくためのものです。
（絵が上手くなりたいと思ってこの動画シリーズをご覧になっている初心者の方へ）
この動画の練習は正確に表記すると「私の絵のワイヤーの練習を私がしているところ」です。
初めて絵を描く方の練習方法ではありません。
みなさんの多少の参考になるかと思い、この動画シリーズを制作してみました。
絵には個人の好き嫌いがあるので、好きな絵を描かれる作家さんの絵を模写するところから始めましょう。
私も子供の頃そうしていました。
そうしてだんだん「自分の絵」を構築し、オリジナルのものにしていきます。
そうなると今度は「自分の絵」しか描かなくなり、形が崩れてきても自分で気づけなくなってきます。
それを防ぎ、絵を安定させるためにこのワイヤーを使用しています。
①模写をして描きまくる
②自分の絵を構築する
③それを維持、または改良、発展させる
商業作家の場合、コンスタントにある一定の水準の作業を続けなくてはなりません。
そんな日常の中「気分」に左右されないように、こういったワイヤーを頭の中に置いて仕事をしています。
分かりやすい形状として捉えられる方もいっらしゃると思いますので、そういった方の参考になれば幸いです。
男性と女性の差を表すため、骨格はかなり誇張してあります。
骨格に筋肉を貼り付けたイメージで捉えて頂くといいかもしれません。

Fastest way to learn through these vids is to look at real life poses and then apply this technique. It works wonders.

@@gensischosen251 You took actual photos or pictures of real-life human poses. Draw the lines and basic shapes on top of those, or imagine that those line exist in your head as you're seeing the human pose. It works most effective with less clothing a.k.a nude human figures.

This guy often sees the drawing finished in his mind once the construction is correct (and then proceeds to draw faces, clothes, etc, without sketch or reference) that's how much he's emphasizing structure on drawing.

It's better to priortize getting the general form right than being detailed from the get-go. Our mind just fills in the blanks anyway. I forget which KZfaqr had said it, but it is pretty neat art advice.

My understanding of the human anatomy and how it’s broken down in simple shapes has improved immensely, since I’m watching your video’s. My art is starting to look decent and I actually enjoy sketching and even looking at my own sketches. As one neo to another. Congrats, my right hand has started to hurt constantly recently, so I can't do alot of things. But I've always loved drawing, and I don't want to quit,but hate my results. I want to get better.

@@Neobelmont1 It sucks if drawing causes pain :-/ Please make sure drawing doesn't make it worse. I've been drawing and sketching on a daily basis and especially with drawing people, something has finally clicked for me. Akihito is definitely a big part of my progress and everytime I watch one of his 'practice' video's, I can't help but stop the video after a few minutes in and I need to sketch something as well. Then I watch some more and so on. I sometimes wonder why he decides to use a particular base form, but it seems to work for him, so why not for us? :-)

I started finding myself drawing some shapes similar to what I'm seeing here about a week ago for my first foray into body shapes. I can't believe i went along with him with a few body torsos and came out very good for my viewing pleasure! i'm amazed they way he makes the structure very informative. i need more practice and dedication and lots of efforts from his teachings, i need to ascend to godhood at drawing! so i can illustrate better and be amazed about my art for my personal happiness. i lost 14 years while being on hiatus and my skill level went bad! i also have to watch other artist that can share knowledge in figure drawing, hands and feet is where i lack the most!! i'm glad he is teaching others his knowledge. god bless him!!!!
