some of my adult league goals and assists after college from the 2016-2017 season.
I recorded this in 720p using this camera:
GoPro Hero 5: amzn.to/2stZiOK
To clamp the camera to the net I use these:
Clamp Mount: amzn.to/2uOK87b
Clamp Mount #2: amzn.to/2sucfbb
For matches over 1 hour your going to want an extra battery:
amzn.to/2su0jX4

Yup, people get older…. And one day you’ll be older as well. And if you look at the statistics you’ll see that most 30+ year olds are unable to play soccer without being really careful and paying close attention to their physical health. Those kinds of men don’t need your disrespect. Just acknowledge that the D1 guy is youthful and talented and move on. Don’t be a dick about it.

fair statement.. at the moment Soccer is nowhere near the main sport in the US. for the US team to win any national matches against other nations where soccer is the main sport is impressive. Our most physically gifted athletes in the US are playing other sports. That is not an excuse, it's just factual, US is not great at soccer and does not care that much about soccer, our main sports programs are developed around other sports Football, Basketball, Baseball, etc.

Is this a competitive league? It looks really fun that field without side lines. Here in Brazil we play a slightly different style, we usually play with the ball a little closer to the feet, I can not explain. From what I saw, you kick very well, I think this field favors kicks and offensive games, it should be very tiring to play without the ball going out. I feel sorry for the goalkeepers. These are men of courage.

i play pick up indoor soccer twice a week at my college gym and there’s always a bunch of good squads that come out to play, including squads full of the D1 soccer boys from my college. The D1 boys usually dominate but they don’t win every game. some players out there (including myself) are just as good as some of these D1 players. it’s just that some have the experience and title, and some, like myself, have just the experience. don’t have to play D1 soccer to be a beast.
@drivingcroooner

This was really funny to watch. Looks like a lot of those opponents had very little playing experience. I don't think you would really stand out from the pack in the Men's A division in the league I'm a part of in LA. The standard of play and level of fitness in adult leagues all across SoCal is much much higher than this, even in the C/D divisions.

You completely missed the point. The former D1 athlete (he was 31 during the shooting of the video) is retired. You see the talent gap between him and the rest. The skill gap between the average Jo and a D1 is huge. Lately, more and more KZfaqrs [not good enough to be pro] are sharing their stories and contents on KZfaq/Instagram, Facebook (playing against beer leaguers around the globe). They're still helding their own. I don't understand why there are still people saying : "Come to X country, you'll see"... When multiple people already been to their country/city/region and documented their odyssey. From my personal experience, I played College basketball in Canada in the 1990s. I moved from a poor country to Canada to seek better opportunities. Basketball was an escape. At first glance, Canada wasn't and isn't a powerhouse in basketball. FIBA ranked us in the outside of the top 20s back then. When me and former teammates went playing tournaments in the USA, we were still able to compete. We were able to until we reach out mid-30s. We weren't professionals by any means, but we were able to compete against younger and more athletic players as we grew older; people behind a screen usually don't see the talent gap. And it's easy to judge. N.B. the talent gap between USA basketball and basketball elsewhere is far more greater than football. No other countries dominate their sport like USA basketball is doing since the 1970s (maybe USA American Football, but it doesn't count 🤪)!

Impressive skills, very accurate shots with great ball control. What happened that led up to the fight? I only played club level in college and I did run into a lot of pissed off old people at adult leagues in the office career phase of my life. Transitioned into Muay Thai after soccer cause the post game fights got annoying. All I have to say is that many Muay Thai and MMA fighters don't play league soccer. Otherwise, fights won't start anymore because you'll see a lot of people with broken faces and ribs on the news from post game altercations. Competitive fighters would batter up just about any old office job workers like they are infants.

joyofpepsi two things: (1) physical contact was made (push) so it’s a battery, not assault; (2) we don’t have all the facts surrounding the incident. So I’ll relent. But I agree with you, it’s pretty stupid to post a clip like that

like the highlights, crazy good skill and hell of a right foot, but what the heck highlighting a fight. What WWE/WWF. My area/state both teams would be banned for AT LEAST a year if not "LIFE" for that.
@iRacer3
@iRacer3 7 жыл бұрын
nate9696 pretty common in leagues I played in then. Only one guy got kicked out for a year for that. Completely insane if you ask me I stopped playing there because of that crap I'm not trying to get shot in the parking lot after the games. The refs would let the games get way out of control.

I played pro Indoor and we played pro outdoor players from MLS and Liga MX and thry couldn't hang with us. It's all about indoor IQ, movement with out the ball, and positioning your self in the right spots. Indoor is a fun sport! Love 11v11 but I enjoyed Indoor better

this looks like a D division indoor league. Men's A division here in the DFW is a lot harder than this. Ex-pro, semi pro, and a lot of college players are usually all in the A and B divisions and we have too many indoors to count. I wish i could play in that indoor league, looks extra easy to win 1st place compared to here.
