I have been using D3 but this really cleared up confusion on splint outlines. I always find your videos helpful!

This is pretty awesome. Is there a reason you don´t work with Zbrush ?

Just haven't seen the need to add it to the toolbox. I already use for dental softwares on a regular basis.

@@bgrutterdds This is so sad. I am not a dentist I am mechanical engineer and I 3D scan and 3D print parts as a hobby from time to time. In the past I used Meshmixer, but the software got bought and is not being developed further. Furthermore it crashes frequently and is outdated by now. I know it is still a great piece of software but I don´t think that´s the right direction to go anymore. So I was hoping you would use Zbrush instead. But you do have specialized software for your field as well, so I am kind of out of luck now =) Anyway, your videos are great for learning how to clean up scans etc. Thank you for that!

Perhaps I'll pick it up at some point. For engineering design, I use Fusion360. I have the paid version, but there's a free one that is functional. TinkerCAD is free, but I'm not a huge fan of it's excessive simplicity.

@@bgrutterdds Fusion 360 is nice from what I have seen online. However CAD is no issue for me, I have NX, CATIA and SOLIDWORKS at my disposal. It´s more a mesh manipulation program I am looking for. Meshmixer is perfect in it´s range of functions plus it is free. However as I have said before it is not further developed anymore and it crashes many many times and has other drawbacks. So I am looking for a replacement to clean up scans mainly but also to make the mesh watertight for 3D printing etc. Unfortunately Zbrush is the next best thing but it goes far beyond that in it´s functions and is rather complex. Your tutorials are great though so I was hoping you would have some for Zbrush as well from your perspective. There are many tutorials from and for artists with UV unwrapping and all sorts of stuff which I don´t care for.

@@sierraecho884 gotcha. That makes more sense. Well, maybe someday.
