Frozen Orb is back!!! This is Mox On Hit here, happy to see came by! I got a new leveling build for you, and a solid starter guide for the new Season 4 for Diablo IV. This has been an absolute blast to play so far, and has "shattered" the content that we have thrown at it so far! We still have lots of upgrades to get, but it has been a workhorse that has been able to grind it all: Helltides, Gauntlet, Nightmare Dungeons, Bosses, and The Pit! Fun against PIT bosses: Blood Bishop, Slither, Bramble, Spirit Caller of Frost, Seahag, Sharpshooter, Chieftan, Elias, and Lilith.

I went with a Hydra and the serpentine aspect as a variation of this. § extra Hydras/conjurations give you so many more orbs and cast for you. So much fun. Although you become a bit squishy as I traded in the Ice armor. Iceheart brais don't make that much of a difference I feel, trash dies super quick without them. I went for a defensive roll on pants as I was dying quite a bit in Helltides. Pits are super easy with this build.

Yeah, Serpentine is still on my list to try again as well. I used it leveling for this season and 2 of my trial runs... worked very well. I am super happy with the pants still though, but that 3rd aspect is in the back of my head a lot. Haha

How do you sustain the mana? Is the mana per second in the couple item slots enough? I am struggling with mana, trying all different skills to overcome mana problem but still ending up waiting for mana especially in boss fights. Now found one ring with mana per kill but it does not help with bosses. I still manage, but lose about 66.6% dps due to mana issues.

They are very important. I took one of mine off and noticed I had some downtime as well, so I am adding it back. Ideally you want a mana regen of about 22-25 to have it feel good!

I wonder if you wanna try the conjuration build with frozen orbs because there is a mod that gives u 80% damage boost if you dont use any defensive skill. Its actually really good because of the conjuration stacks and i learned how to play without shields. Plus its funner to not worry about the shield cooldowns.

Hey if i get a 1/2 of conjuration mastery on the amulet but all the rest are good and some are even max rolls would you still try to get a new one?

Go for the highest fixed affix numbers for the actual unique part! A 50%/70% over every other stat!

how do you apply vulnerable when playing destructive frozen orb instead of greater?

Exploit and then Ice Blades. Mobs die usually within the 2 second initial window. Plus, you can run Frost Nova still to trigger it from your Conjurations!

Would you use Shaco over Everliving Aspect on the Helmet ?

Absolutely! A solid addition if you get it. And if that is the case, use Everling, but shift it to the chest. Max it gives 5% more than the conjuration one.

Absolutely!!! Just get rid of one of the damage reduction aspects and replace you helmet!

I don’t have the amulet, can I make this build somewhat work, tried it at level 75 but I felt like I was always oom

Absolutely, it works great even without the amulet. Focus on Mana Per Second on chest, helm, and boot! That will help a yon.

I’ve farmed like 30 regular zir and 2 lvl 200 zir and still haven’t gotten a semi decent amulet. Rng has been rough on me this season. Build is still a lot of fun though

Go do your Iron Wolves turn ins! I have heard one of the bundle stashes has a Unique Amulet that has a super high rate of getting the Winterglass. I got one from there as well. Worth a shot!

So like, how is it you're not getting one tapped or even losing health? But when i have built up plenty of dmg with ice armor active for increase barrier, i still get one shot through it?

Rotation of my Flame Ward. A lot of the other stuff is just placement in the area. Wait to jump on bosses and packs until they are staggered/frozen. You will get there!

@@MoxOnHit you literally didn't have flame shield going though during a few times you take a hit. You didn't even have ice armour going either. You had a barrier going yes but that shouldn't of been enough to completely negate all damage you take. When zir was doing the ground area effect attack, you stood right on two of it without flame shield or ice shield going on but yet 0 dmg.

@@tharleschornburg9175 You got a timestamp for it? I can look to it and try to break it down. For the Zir fight, a lot of that stuff slows and doesn't do damage. Lord Zir only has a few attacks that really do damage and hit, 99% of that fight is just dodging stuff and placement.

@@MoxOnHitmy bad. I thought you was fight lvl 200 and tanking the stuff without shields and everything. Yeah normal boss i'm fine. T61 pit boss still one shots if i get hit though without my flame shield. Kills me through my ice armor half the time even after i've built the dmg with it

finaly some more yt videos im new to sorc and it makes no fun to play i startet a balllightning sorc and im super dissapointet always mana poblems and clunky to play even i got all stuf for the build but this looks way more fun then balllightning

Yea, ball lightning didn't get as many buffs from the new affixes as other build did. Hope this one works out better though!

That's because of the new unique Amulett. There are also lightning spears and iceblades.😉

Yup, working in it today! Just got done steaming and pushed up to 67 easily. Tried a few 70s and didn't quite make it, got close though.

@@MoxOnHit we tried many builds and all of them really weak. But this build better than others. But can see max 800k dps. Other builds around 300k :(

Sorry to hear that... What did your other pants have? Do you have the other pieces for the build as well? Are you level 100? And do you have either right enchantments? Keep me posted!

@@MoxOnHit Ive changed around some paragon stuff replaced some stuff and I have a pretty descend dmg now running Pit tier 17 now, but it would be nice to have a experienced D4 guy too take a look at my build and tell me what could be done better or added or changed, because I am kinda stuck now, I know did I need to get the fractured winter glass item that is my next target.

Yea, sorc is in a rough spot for sure. The changes to Fractured Winterglass sadly could have been left in place IMO. Mana isn't too bad on this too, just gotta spend some affix spots on it.

Nah mana is fine If you use frigid passive and prodigy aspect in early game. Can even use blizzard in place of a conjuration on skill bar to proc mana gain more before you get the unique
