I need to get back into my bible study lessons. unfortunately several prosperity ministers do twist context of scripture. I left the ministry due to a financial complication.

unfortunately even he is prone to the same errors @@RalphTubbernackle-pr5tb I don't think they do it intentionally but when you over personalize the text you can easily miss the actual lesson it is teaching and this is a tendency within many modern charismatic churches. do I believe in an anointing? yes within the bounds of the proper understanding of what it means to be anointed. proper definition "consecrated or made sacred; dedicated to God, often in a ceremony that includes dabbing or sprinkling with holy oil" so in this case there is never a case for a so-called double portion anointing. it's either it is or it is not.
