D4DJ should have more players because almost all the time you join a multi live its literally NO player in sight just NPC'S people really need to try the game honesty

Not sure you already know this, but Noa (Photon Maiden) has the same va as Mizuki and Elsie (Abyssmare) has the same va as An.

The best thing about this game to me is that in Unichørd there’s an official wlw couple and we got a lot of representation cause one of them worries about being judged like someone would but also additionally ppl say “We need more mentally ill characters!” And in this game there is one and ppl think she’s a creep

Doesn't look like anyone mentioned it, but the reason there was no one to play multiplayer with is because you were in the free room and everyone graduates to the veteran room pretty quickly.

I don't know if you're still playing this game, but here's my tip in multi live mode: • If the place seems empty, try counting to 4. If no player(s) appeared, hit back then join again. • If above tip doesn't work much, try training your cards, break limits, upgrade equipments and character parameters (this last one I suggest only one character for a moment per unit based on your resources [e.g. Rinku for Happy Around, Kyoko for Peaky P-key, etc.] until you feel using discs on other members) to increase you unit's powed to join higher level rooms. Mostly players are in either of two higher level rooms especially when grinding for events.

I RLLY LOVE SEEING NEW PLAYERS ON D4DJ, I JATE IT WHEN I MATCH WITH NPCS (i recently started in like late may and I already got hang of it!) Manual Mode is a bit harder when you're starting to play it but you'll get used to it!

Glitchy animation right at start of 10 draw = two 4 stars Also, I think most players don't do multi lives outside of specific events, which is probably why you didn't encounter anyone. I couldn't tell if you found it, but there's a setting that combines the input fields which means you can control the slider (or fader as it's actually called) even above the judgment line, called Judgment Mode. I personally find combined way easier to deal with than separate (a little side note regarding note input: literally all notes you can do input for above the judgment line, which I really like)

Glad to see others enjoying this game too. I myself also only started playing late June and still love it. Tho i did venture out and try pjsk out of curiousity. Love d4dj more but pjsk is pretty neat too :>> Also that beginner luck is insane

Seems like both of us have a good first impressions. Also Navigation gacha (the one you first time spending) is kinda like a scam 🙃 the featured cards rates are so low You don't really need to hold the sliders notes by the way, just focus on other notes and only move the sliders if they're going to the other side. Btw I started the game because I saw the cool gacha, Shinobu is my best girl now. Overall, have fun!

Hello i am here to bless you. SONGSHELLS - can be obtained when you pulled a duplicate in the gacha!, when you get 10 or more song shells, you can exchange them for crystals and more! (In the regular section of the exchange tab) CRYSTALS - can be obtained in rewards, live shows, events or by exchanging them using song shells! Crystals are used to leveling your characters, but in order to use it, the character/s you want to level up must be in Max level by levelling them up in the training tab. (To level your character on the training tab, you use EXP tickets, it is obtained by; clearing Live shows, rewards, groovy tours, and probably more) •usage of crystals Just like what i said, it is for leveling up characters, you can use them in the limit break tab! You can only level up characters in the limit break tab that are max level and is a 3*, 4* and/or SP character. It replaces the basic gold/bronze stars to a rainbow one, AND it changes the card, but its still the same character. Once added a rainbow star in your character, you go in the training tab and max the levels. And you repeat the process! If you run out if crystals, you can exchange them if you have enough song shells. EXTRA TRAINING - Basically just making your character 1, 2, 3, 4 mastery, and in order to do that, you must have the items on the bottom of the screen. (And again, its only for 3*, 4*, and SP characters.) How to earn easy diamonds? Its simple honestly Okay so In the bottom left side of your screen, you see the story tab with a building in it. Once you click it, you see characters talking (just like in pjsk) and at the bottom right corner, you can see the main story tab, you tap on that then it'll bring you somewhere where you see "D4.FES" written or whatever, you tap on a chapter. then once you tapped that, each unit's story are seen. (Happy Ara, Merm4id, Abyssmare, photon maiden & etc. . .) In order to read more stories, you need to rank up the unit by playing lives using a character from that unit. Example: Saori Hidaka, from merm4id, you need to keep on playing with that character then soon enough you'll see something say "*UNIT NAME* ranked up!" Or something like that •Another way of obtaining diamonds By simply completing lives. The better your score is, the more you get diamonds •Another way of obtaining diamonds AGAIN By simply completing tasks (in the DJ ROAD tab!!!!!) mizuki jumpscare at the end omg (this is not /neg. mizuki the scrunkly.) also this was really fun to watch! honestly you did better with the slider than a lot of new players, it can be really confusing indeed. and your pulls were so good!! long comment incoming lol you didn't ask for tips but i wanted to mention some things in case you ever wanna play more d4dj :D feel free to disregard these! - while you still sometimes get matched with NPCs, the reason nobody is on free/beginner live rooms is that it's SO easy to get a powerful team, that everyone is hanging out in veteran shows almost exclusively. again, there's still a lack of players (and when you match with someone, they often just have Auto on, so you're the only person really playing the rhythm game), but it's also because of the type of live show you were in. - you may have already noticed, but you don't need to let go of hold notes when they end! in fact, it's safer if you don't, at least on slower songs. that also applies to disc hold notes (the ones that stop all the notes in their place until they end) - the only thing that matters when you're using the pink slider is that it hits the pink notes when they come. the line connecting the slider and the note that's approaching is just to help you figure out where the note will be, but you can wait until the last second to move the slider to the note, move it gradually, or move it in advance until the line connecting the slider and the note is straight. basically, go wild as long as you start and end in the right places. you can let go of the slider anytime, as long as it's "active" (as in, you can see that a line is coming out of it towards a future note) it will stay exactly where you left it, even if you aren't touching it.......... yeah this is the most confusing feature of the game haha. - also about the slider: if you have slider effects on, you'll notice how it distorts the music when it's in effect. sometimes a slider note will do its own thing: if it's in a straight line you don't need to touch it at all. it's usually just there to change up the song while you play with regular notes. They do this a lot in "Wish You Luck" (expert), it's an easy song to play and it shows off their slider features pretty well! - do check out the Medley feature, it REALLY helps with farming diamonds/coins and maybe you'll find it fun as well - d4dj is a VERY personalizable game in terms of gameplay, go messing with the settings, there's a LOT you can adjust. they also have purchasable tap sound packs if you're interested, but they cost diamonds so you'll wanna leave that alone if you prefer to save up for gacha pulls. - lastly, you didn't just get 4*s, you got SPs! those are special members, they're pretty much the highest rarity and very useful since they don't come completely untrained. the only ones "better" than SPs are navigation members, kinda the equivalent of prsk birthday cards. they also come trained. sorry for the long list, just a little something if you wanna play again in your free time ^^

Im giving you a hint right here!! If the slider note continue straight, you dont need to move it, this would mess up with your gameplay!

As a fellow Project Sekai player, but then QUICKLY got used to d4dj, TAKE MY TIPPY TIPS AT THE EDGE OF YOUR FINGERTIPS Basically if you get that static thing, YOU GOT THE GOOD STUFF (As in 4* ig) THERES MORE STORIES WHICH MEANS = MORE MONEH (I'm lookin at you pjsk) Hehe I see d4dj more for people who want to get better at playing, and not really focusing on the gacha aspects. if you wanna get diamonds heres an easy way!! you can easily get 80k in one day if you keep doing medleys with 4 different songs you haven’t completed on hard or expert before! go to medleys, put in 4 songs all on expert mode, when you’ve done them all with S rank you will get 400 gems! you can put in the same songs again but on hard mode and when you’ve done them you get another 400 if you completed over S rank! (a tip is to put on auto mode so you don’t have to sit for hours and do actual gameplay, cause some expert songs can be very difficult😭 you will still get the rewards on auto mode!) 4 songs: 800 gems which is kinda insane😭 the game is very generous!!

girl you do not need to hold the slider if it's straight it can beat on it own 💀💀💀(read tutorials 😭) also for the dual line taps, you remember that the disks push back the beat and long disks pause it completely? dual line taps basically makes the note continue moving even if you are playing a disk note, have fun with D4DJ! (Pls read the tutorials again you need it😭🙏🏻)

Not you getting the cards i WISH i had- D4DJ can be very confusing at first, however overtime it gets easier to understand. Also if your wondering the order of the D4DJ story: D4DJ First Mix (Anime) --> D4DJ Groovy Mix D4FES. stories ---> D4DJ Double Mix (Anime style but just one ep) ---> D4DJ All Mix (Anime)! [Cries in no Maho /j]
