First of all Lord Shiva is originally the God of the Kirat people. His original name is Paruhang. He is also known as Kirateshwar Mahadev. The Pashupatinath temple Nepal has an origin that dates back to the Kirat era. Nepal's oldest statue (Birupakshya) from Kirati era is inside the Pashupatinath temple. Birupakshya statue was built by Kirati people in ancient times. But the Pashupatinath temple caretakers and priests are the Indian Brahmins. This tradition of having Indian Brahmins at the Pashupatinath temple was started by the Malla King in the 14th century. Another thing. There was no Hindu caste system during the Kirat dynasty. It was the Licchavis who introduced the Hindu caste system in Nepal after they defeated the Kirat. The Malla King later modified the Hindu Caste System with the help of the Indian Brahmins whom he invited. Ever since the Indian Brahmins were appointed as caretakers and priests of the Pashupatinath temple. Now we must make changes again. We must let the Kirati priest be in charge of the Pashupatinath temple. For your information, Lord Shiva is the God of Kiratas. Lord Shiva's original name is Paruhang in our Kirati language. God Shiva was originally a shaman of a Shamanistic religion followed by the Kiratis The Kirat (Sanskrit: किरात) is a generic term in Sanskrit literature for people who had territory in the mountains, particularly in the Himalayas and Northeast India and are Sino-Tibetan in origin. Kirati God Paruhang was taken into Hindu culture only when the Aryan people came into contact with the Kiratis after they arrived in the foothills of the Himalayas. Once the Aryan people adopted Paruhang into Hindu culture he was given the Sanskrit name Shiva. Here's physical proof. Now, where do you think Lord Shiva's abode/home is? It is in Mt. Kailash, Himalayas. Kiratis are the aboriginal of the Himalayas. This is even purely mentioned in Vedic books. Lord Shiva carries a buffalo horn. (If you are not sure, check his photo) To the Aryan Khas people, anything that is associated with buffalo is taboo. But Kiratis eat buffalo meat. And the Kiratis also make use of buffalo horns to make musical instruments. A buffalo horn is blown at the start of the Kirati festival Sakela. Hindu Aryan Khas people blow the conch shells. They will never touch or associate anything with buffalo. Here's the proof from scholars who reveal Lord Shiv's identity. Dinesh Prasad Saklani said " It can be roughly asserted that Shiva-worship might have begun among the Kiratas in the mountainous regions of the Himalaya in pre-Vedic times, before the advent of Aryans. Shaivism, in some form, was the prevailing religion of the aboriginal Kiratas." - Ancient communities of the Himalayas, 1998 Shiv Kumar Tiwari said " The clear conception of Siva arose in the Upanisadic age. Siva has been, for the first time, explicitly mentioned as the Aryan god in the Svetasvatara Upanisad in the background of the Yoni-Linga relationship. There was never mention of Siva as an Aryan god in Rig Veda, the oldest text of Aryan". From here it can be ascertained that Siva was worshiped by the aboriginal Kirata before the advent of Aryan.” - Tribal roots of Hinduism, 2002 G.P Singh said, “Kiratas along with other tribes non-conforming to Vedic teachings was classified as Mleccha(barbarians) in many early texts, in a sense that they were destroyers of Aryan. Nepali government has failed to act on social justice and equality on citizen rights. From the Monarchs to this government used the tool of oppression towards own Nepali citizens. One race and one religion domination is their brand and modo in so called 4 caste and 36 varieties of garden. The biggest problem and issue with me is Nepali government false and incorrect data on Buddhist population which they give each year which is oppressive, incoherent and inaccurate. It shows Nepali government still has mindset of deep oppression towards Nepali citizen. Gurungs,Sherpas,Tamangs,Yolmos,Thakali,Magars and majority of Newars in Kathmandu valley are traditional and generational Buddhists.These tribes represent more than half of the population of Nepal combined hence why is Nepali government data and status is showing Buddhists population of Nepal is only 10%??This is nothing but one race and one religion domination law and rules in 21st century Nepal. Actual Nepali Buddhists population is more than 45% Dr Keshav man Shakya is right about Dashain is not Buddhist festival. Dashain is described in Hindu scripture and it is more religious festival than the whole countries festival.There is no such thing like Pranni Himnsha ( Animal sacrifice) to worship gods and goddesses in any Buddhists teachings. It is not Buddhists Festival at all. Ahimnsha is one of the core teaching of Buddha dhamma.Dashain and Tihar should not be applied to celebrate on Buddhists forcefully.It is citizens right not to celebrate for their own reason. .It is religious festival and also Nepali government must correct bias, inaccurate data and status of Nepali population based on religion. It is vital for other race and other religion followers.
