Part 4 of my Hidden Dialogue series, where I scout out dialogue that most people won't hear. ALL Dialogue Options for The Exalted Council.
This includes hidden dialogue for if the Inquisitor never captured Caer Bronach, and the results of all actions regarding the Wardens and who rules Orlais.

I find arl teagen using grey wardens as example really out of character of him due to his own redcliffe being saved by a grey warden his king is a grey warden and the hero of ferelden is a grey warden.

@@SeventhheavenDK The only reason we even had the Exalted council was cuz Ferelden saw us as a threat to their rule. We were doing their job, and they felt like people would look to us for leadership instead of them. Effectively making a bloodless coup d'etat. Orlais saw that and jumped at using it as an opportunity to force the Inquisition into a difficult spot: either fall in line under an Orlesian flag, or we'll team up with Ferelden to crush you. Simply put; Ferelden felt like a C uCk and wanted us gone, while Orlais wanted to add to their power.

Idk why people are shocked Tegan is talking this way, its been 10 years and he is Ferelden's main diplomat. He has to play hardball by even going against his principles to get what Ferelden diplomatically wants which is the Inquisition disbanded.

I don’t get why people are shocked at Teagan being hostile. He’s never met the inquisitor in person before now only sent a few messages in the past. The inquisition has strong ties with orlais, has had its troops stationed in ferelden 2 years after corypheus died, and is continuing to grow stronger. It’s not surprising that he’s incredibly hostile to you. He was nicer to the warden because the warden laid down his life to (at the very least) save his brother. Then the warden went on to stop the light from destroying ferelden completely. That generally causes some due respect for the individual. Respect that in Eamon’s eyes the inquisitor hasn’t earned due to the inquisition’s ever growing power at the moment and refusal to give it up. I personally wonder what Teagen’s reaction is to the disbanding the inquisition ending. I imagine he would be shocked but pleased.

Actually, when people are surprised at Teagan's behavior. Im more surprised why we didnt disband already? I always wanted to close the breach, kill Corypheus and disband. Why it was active for 2 more years is what I truly dont get.

@@Dark_Voice There were still fade rifts that needed to be closed, plus the events of Jaws of Hakkon and the Decent technically take place after Corypheus is defeated, even though you can bring Solas along with.

⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠@@deathstar6998iirc there’s no official confirmation on when the events of The Descent and The Jaws of Hakkon take place, only that they took place after the Inquisition’s relocation to Skyhold but before events of Trespasser. You could literally go do The Descent and The Jaws of Hakkon either as soon as you have access to the war table again after relocating your base pf operations (provided that you have enough Power to unlock them beforehand) or you could hold off on and do them after finishing the main story, so unless you have evidence that confirms otherwise your case of having the events of the aforementioned DLCs take place solely after the events of the main story is pure speculation at best.

@@elianrodriguez7318 I go on this metric based on the difficulty and levels of the expansion being way higher than during the campaign and narrative scruples. Canonically yeah they could occur at any time but it wouldn't fit narratively. Just like trying to do Mask of the Assassin or Legacy in DA 2 didn't make a whole lot of narrative sense till the third act.

He should've made a local Ferelden serve as liaison to the occupying Inquisition forces to legitimize their peacekeeping efforts.

What Ferelden should've done was handle their own people. They literally did nothing while the Mage/ Templar war broke out. If you choose to help the Mages, whoever is on the Ferelden throne didn't even notice what was happening in Redcliffe until the Inquisition took an interest. Then they show up after the problem has been solved. After that they send no support for the Inquisition after Cory. Even Orlais and the Qunari try to help. Tevinter even helps provide vital information in some War Table missions and Tevinter doesn't care about anybody. Ferelden literally did nothing, yet complained the loudest. Because they were lazy, take in mind that they have to make 3 different scenes, not everyone has Alistair ruling Ferelden, you know. And if they have added them, they would have to add Orlais ruler too, which means, 3 variations more.

It's been 10 years since Dao... Teagan was maybe 30... What the hell happened!? Also Radcliff has a problem... And it's name is The Guerrin Family. Eamon and Teagan can't seem to lead for shit and need others to sweep in and protect their people for them.

Better said, there is a lot of bad writing in Inquisition, especially here, and starting since the moment they made any other organization stupid and useless just to make the Inquisitor Mary Sue and his/her "perfect" Inquisition SHINE.

Funny is that if Fereldan tried to 1v1 Inquisition - I have a feeling Inquisition would win and the only reason Inquisition would lose is because Orlais would come to deal with the threat.

Easily, ( Check my reply under @Meggsie) the only reason the Exalted council took place is cuz they were trying to see if they needed to gang up on us if they weren't able to negotiate our falling in line under an Orlesian flag. They knew they couldn't take the Inquisition 1 on 1. Also think about it. If one of the countries attacked the Inquisition, and was defeated only 2 options remain. Either the Inquisition absorbs the fallen kingdom's resources and sits peacefully being twice as powerful as before. Or The Inquisition does the same thing again, only this time assuming the rest of the council feels the same way and declares war. Ferelden and Orlais were afraid of both options, so Orlais jumped when the possibility of a potential alliance over the Inquisition as a mutual enemy popped up. Seeing it as an opportunity to seize power or remove a threat.

Hero of Fereldan: What are you trying to say, Teagan? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY?! That bringing Grey Wardens back to Fereldan was a mistake? Was saving your village from hordes of undead AND THE BLIGHT a mistake too?! Let's not forget that I, A GREY WARDEN, saved your dying brother and possessed nephew too. Maybe if you didn't SUCK at protecting your lands and people , people like the Inquisitor and I wouldn't need to be here to do what needs to be done. If only the HoF or Alistair was there. ESPECIALLY if they rule Fereldan together.

Its a ploy, he is just posturing as the Inquisition is primarily an Orlesian force that has great influence in Ferelden and he uses the Wardens of the past as a scapegoat to make his point. I don't think he hates the Inquisition its just as Leliana said, posturing.

Because you have 2 options only and the other one talks weird. Its super low and deep - it really seems artificial (Im not joking when I say that Geralt of Rivia's voice seems more natural than the hyper-deep voice of the other one) => there pretty much is only one voice actor for male human inquisitor. (Just go to Character creation for couple seconds and try out the insanely trash second one.)

@Dark_Voice The low voice works for dwarves and qunari and I play as a dwarven inquisitor often. The other voice is too friggin wimpy.

Quick question, do you happen to remember which response if given from the council when you publicly ask your advisor to step in four a moment? Is it them asking if they aren't worth your time?

Rebecca Lindsey If I remember correctly, the ambassadors react the same no matter what the Inquisitor says. The only difference is whether or not Leliana is Divine, in which case she calls for a recess.

Of course you aren't worth my time. This is why I disbanded the Inquisition. I only wish I could make a promise to help their enemies should they ask it of me.

It was time the Inquisition was disbanded, even the soldiers were starting to become annoying thinking they were all mighty. Actually, I was getting very annoyed by the supremacist attitude almost everyone in the Inquisition had, and in Trespasser it gets worse, especially Cullen and his guards But the Inquisitor wasn't that far behind. Boring protagonist (especially compared to the Warden and Hawke), he/she doesn't even do anything for him/herself, not even put an effort to actually get anything, everything was given to him/her in a silver plate, take away the magic hand (which I am so glad and pleased it actually happened) and he/she has nothing special at all.
