The DA minister aims to help foreigners who want to come to South Africa by making the process easier and legal. Those who are undocumented and have been let down by the system can go to Home Affairs, be assisted, and get a legal way to stay in South Africa, rather than being deported. The reason the DA did not give Home Affairs to Gayton is because he criticized and threatened foreigners in South Africa. The DA couldn’t allow that, as they realize the importance of foreigners. Proof of this is that the new Home Affairs minister didn’t even know he was going to be appointed, showing the DA chose a regular guy over Gayton to silence him with a useless position he doesn’t understand. If the EFF had done that, there would be protests by now. SUCH HYPOCRITES! Malema was right when he said whites are responsible for hiring foreigners over South Africans due to the need for cheap labor, which causes us to fight against each other as Africans. Those who say we don't need foreigners are wrong; even the DA can see that. Africa must unite.
