Im going there 20 June. Looks like you need to embrace the constant honking of horns as the way of life and culture and not get pissed off about it.

The horn beeping is constant and often for no apparent reason. You must not get pissed off about it and just accept it or you will go mad. Just like to ask what day of the week was this walk? Or just the date and time? Guessing it's the weekend because I've seen videos of this area in late afternoon and there's hardly anyone around.

Hi Steve, It looks like this one was recorded Tue, April 23, 2024, late afternoon into the early evening. 😀 Overall it seemed a little quiet on these (normally) busy streets of Danang. A lot of westerners had headed to Thailand during this time for the annual Songkran Festival.

I wouldn't really call this the quiet area. It's the area where many westerners tend to congregate. In our other Da Nang video we start off in a slightly quieter area on Tran Van Du Street and walk toward the beach: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n69yqMipvrDPf3k.html

This is a beach so it's a bit noisy and bustling, there are many other quiet areas in the city
