In this video Da Nang, Vietnam Year Of The Cat I've covered a few places that many residents of Da Nang will find themselves at prior to and during the Lunar New Year. Flowers play such an important role in honoring ancestors and blessing families with a new year full of hope, happiness, wealth, safety, and peace. In this video I visit a flower market only 2 days before the first day of the Year Of The Cat. I also check out activity around and in the Han and Con Markets of Da Nang. Many families will find themselves visiting a pagoda on the first day of the new year to pray for a good new year, and in this video I visit the Ba Da Pagoda, one of the most visited temples during the Lunar New Year in Da Nang. Finally I visit one of Vietnam's most spectacular settings for a traditional flower park, next to the Han River and the city's iconic Dragon Bridge.
