GOOD Party secretary general Brett Herron says Helen Zille's statement
that the DA will not vote for Cyril Ramaphosa’s impeachment on the
Phala Phala matter was not part of GNU agreement. According to him,
the GNU parties haven't agreed on anything relating to the Phala
Phala issue.

Patricia de Lille when she led ID took our votes to the DA in a failed arrangement with again, the same Helen Zille & now GNU talk... What we are starting to see is parties who received a small proportion of the vote becoming opportunistic at the expense of their constituencies to their own individual benefit. What happened to the fire breathing, principled de Lille that was a whistleblower wrt the Arms Deal... Very disappointing!

From the recent interview(the one with Fikile Mbalula) she said that should there be evidence provided on the Phala Phala thing, then they will vote for the impeachment of the president and that there is nothing in the agreement that will prevent the DA from participating in the impeachment process.

The DA in SA can still vote for impeachment of mr Ramaphosa only after they make sure that they hv secured a deputy president seat under the GNU after the announcement of cabinet by the president of SA, then the DA can consult others oppositions parties or units in order to vote for impeachment of mr Ramaphosa then he will be gone...

I respect DA more now than ever . My biggest criticism with them was that they didn't know how to play politics. They finally waking up. The agreement should be availed to the public for public consumption and scrutiny, after all these are public servents lest they should forget this fundamental fact. They are not above the public but are underneath it.
