My dear brothers and sisters,
If you are feeling alone tonight, my heart aches for you. I know what it is like to feel like there is no one who truly understands your pain, your struggles, your fears. But I want to tell you that you are not alone. There is one friend who is always with you, who loves you unconditionally, and who will never leave you or forsake you. His name is Jesus.
In John 15:15, Jesus says to his disciples, "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you." This was not just a statement for his disciples at that time. This is a statement for us now. Jesus wants to be our friend. He wants to walk with us, talk with us, and reveal the secrets of his heart to us.
In Matthew 28:20, Jesus promises, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." This is not a promise that he made lightly. This is a promise that he made with his own blood. He died on the cross so that we could be with him forever. And he rose from the dead to prove that he is the Son of God, that he has the power to save us, and that he has the power to give us the gift of eternal life.
In Hebrews 13:5, the writer says, "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'" This is a powerful statement. It means that God will never abandon us, no matter what we do, no matter how we feel, no matter how far we stray. He is always holding out his hand to us, waiting for us to take hold of it and allow him to guide us on the path of righteousness.
So if you are feeling alone tonight, my friend, remember that there is only one true friend who will never leave you, never forsake you, never judge you, and never condemn you. His name is Jesus. He loves you with an everlasting love, and he wants to be your friend. All you have to do is reach out to him, and he will come running to you. Trust him with your life, and he will never disappoint you.
May God bless you and keep you always. HalleluYAH let it be só. *Daar’s maar net een ware vriend en Jesus is sy naam. Juan-Henry Gertzen. #whorshipwiththehammond7
