Dabi be like "Welcome to the cancellation of Endeavour"

The best thing about the Toya reveal is that even though everyone guessed it, for some it was obvious, for some it was spoiled, the presentation in the moment was amazing. Because even though it was such a personal moment, Dabi leveraged it to such a degree, and to such amount of damage that nobody could see it coming. It wasn't a "No, I'm your son!" it felt like a combo of "I'm your son" and "I did it 35 minutes ago" from Watchmen, because even if they win here, even if the league is wiped out here, and the heroes win the fight - the truth is out there now, and the damage is done. My favorite thing about MHA, is that the society is like another character in the show. The public perception of heroes is crucial in the show, when All Might retired, we realized that "something" became unstable and vulnerable, and at this moment, when Dabi revealed his identity, not just to Shoto and Endeavor but to the entire country - it felt like that character got a shot in the gut, and the bleeding that started with all might, and might have started healing after Endeavor's fight with the Nomu in Kyushu got torn open and is now gushing red.

Since Season 2 they teased Dabi being an Todoroki so hard. Same eye color, Dabi only wanted to say his true name when the time comes, Endeavor speaking about Toya who has more firepower than him (Blue flames = hotter flames), Dabi calling Endeavor Enji in Season 5, Dabi saying, that he lost the ability to cry long ago after he met Endeavor, Dabi calling only Shoto by his full name when they captured Katsuki in Season 3 and probably even more hints.

Dabi was all: “Brb, imma go to ruin my old man’s reputation.” 😂😂😂

I think Dabi's VA (Shimono Hiro) is the one who carried the episode... His voice is on another level... He even trained the Dabi Dance for years since he read the manga... I'm not a BNHA fan, I don't read nor watch the anime but I watch and read some clips here and there from everywhere, and I watched this episode as a stand alone and somehow I can say... Dabi's scenes is just spectacular especially the way Shimono Hiro the voice actor deliver his role perfectly! Chef kiss...

fun fact, we HAVE heard of Hawks' father before but only in passing and it's extremely brief. back when the boys were training under Endeavor and they were attacked by Ending (the guy who controlled the lines painted on the street). When we first see Ending, he explains that he was inspired to attack Endeavor in the past after he caught "some thief named Takami". Hawks real name is of course Keigo Takami but that information wasn't known then.

Dabi's Such an awesome character and to think the show will pull of some thing like this is absolutely mind blowing. Enjoyed every second of that dance

While all the manga readers have known for forever, WAITING for this moment! FINALLY!!! Dance, Toya, dance! Dance for national television! Mwahahaha! I never ever watch the MHA sub, but I did for this, 'cause I just couldn't wait to see it!

Which is why Ochako is so confused. Because she's not exactly sure why she's talking to her. But she instantly regrets shutting her down once she sees that she was crying. And it pushes her to question why Toga was upset. Which is why the anime having Toga mention her reason for being upset last episode kinda takes away from Ochako's confusion and trying to understand Toga. Toga does love Ochako the same way she loves Stain and Izuku. So essentially, one of her crushes didn't get what she was trying to convey. Which has to suck. When this reveal happened in the manga, it actually out trended the literal US election. Dabi is built different. Also, it's really funny how Shigaraki gave that speech a few episodes ago about how heroes will destroy their families and Endeavor completely ignored him. Only for one of the biggest examples of him being selfish and destroying his own family to appear. Endeavor is trying to improve, yes. But that doesn't mean his past actions just go away. He added fuel to that poor boy's flames and then tossed him aside once he realized he wasn't the perfect child he wanted to create. And now, Touya will reduce everything to ash. Him and Skeptic pulled through with the tag team of the century.

Shoto broke my heart this episode.

I read all kinds of spoilers for MHA as I started watching the anime. But for some reason, I never read about this Dabi as Toya reveal. When I watched this episode last night, I was completely floored by this reveal.

I kinda felt like it was brother because of season 5. After they told the story about toya being dead, having that messy hair, blue eyes it kinda hinted that dabi was toya todoroki. Not much of a surprise for me but nonetheless an amazing reveal
