Imagine being Shoto through all this. You’ve endured years of abuse, started to move forward with your dad, and then your brother (who you thought had died a horrible death) shows up and basically outright says “I’m going to kill you just to get back at Dad.” Then your brother comes at you, your dad, and your two friends with the intent to burn you all alive. It was so emotional to see him beg his dad to protect his friends while saying that he’ll be the one to face his brother. I have so much respect for Shoto Todoroki here. Despite everything he must be going through in this moment, this 16-year-old was a true hero.

Man the voice acting this episode was just so damn good. Toya/Dabi screaming "ENDEAVORRRRR," Shoto begging his Dad to stand up and fight for everyones sake, and Endeavor himself acknowledging how much pain he's in before being completely broken down by Toya's reveal. Everything was so tense!

This episode was absolute fire! Dabi’s voice actor Hiro Shimono snapped hard. He really elevated that Dabi scene🔥🔥it was immaculate!

Roshi: "You know what would've solved this? Guns." Endeavor literally exploding like a mini sun: "Am I a joke to you...?"

Shoto and Dabi's voice actors really brought it this episode. Seeing Todoroki screaming and begging his dad to stand up, while tears were coming down his face made my heart break. It's a rare sight whenever we get to see Shoto show his emotions.

Lupa-san has NO IDEA how lucky he was this whole time, not even suspecting Dabi was Endeavor’s son

Shoto finally calling Endeavor "dad" in the middle of having an emotional breakdown hits different when its given animation and voice acting. Not much action this episode, but thats fine because it gave some of the VA's time to really shine.

Even though nearly everyone already figured Dabi was Toya, it was still revealed splendidly and executed very well.

I just feel so bad for Shoto. My boy didn't deserve to through all of that. And he was just starting to heal too and now everything is coming back and his personal past and trauma is being shared ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. He really can't catch a break and holy shit did his voice actor really shine this episode. His crying and screaming near the end was GOD TIER voice acting!

I'm anime only and I figured it out quite fast due to his eyes shape, and their color, whilst later Toya the oldest brother is kept secret. That just confirms it, surprised Lupa never caught onto it. Only Todorokis have those eyes.

Finally. This scene is being animated. The reveal was so much more epic than it seemed in the manga.

Because she's not exactly sure why she's talking to her. But she instantly regrets shutting her down once she sees that she was crying. And it pushes her to question why Toga was upset. Which is why the anime having Toga mention her reason for being upset last episode kinda takes away from Ochako's confusion and trying to understand Toga. Toga does love Ochako the same way she loves Stain and Izuku. So essentially, one of her crushes didn't get what she was trying to convey. Which has to suck. When this reveal happened in the manga, it actually out trended the literal US election. Dabi is built different. Also, it's really funny how Shigaraki gave that speech a few episodes ago about how heroes will destroy their families and Endeavor completely ignored him. Only for one of the biggest examples of him being selfish and destroying his own family to appear. Endeavor is trying to improve, yes. But that doesn't mean his past actions just go away. He added fuel to that poor boy's flames and then tossed him aside once he realized he wasn't the perfect child he wanted to create. And now, Touya will reduce everything to ash. Him and Skeptic pulled through with the tag team of the century.

All they found was an incinerated piece of his jaw bone. It was completely natural for Endeavor to think that his son burned to death in that!
