Engine oil and filter change of Dacia duster 1.5 dci diesel K9K engine. Technical documents recommend oil change every 20.000 kms or every year which ever comes first.

I always remove the oil filter before refitting the sump plug as there seems to always be some remaining dirty oil held back. Removing the filter and letting air into the system seems to help get the last oil out. I'm about to change the oil on a friends Duster, so this was useful to see the positioning of the important parts.

@@handyguy6273 Another thing, it's easy to mix up the sump plug and the gearbox drain plug if you are not careful!

You are welcome. The tool is 76 mm diameter filter removal cap. I have another video to demonstrate this tool if you watch it itmay help you. Wish you a nice day...:-)

Carlos Martinez They can be a pain the butt to find in cheap auto part stores. None of the complete sets of different oil filter cups has that one included.. but luckily a lot of motorcycle shops has that specific one, which is where I got mine.

It is special tool, cap for oil filters renault uses, sold in auto part stores.

According to technical documents I have for the K9K engine sump plug should be tightened to 20 newton-meter (nm) torque.

Oil filters just need a slight hand tightening. As firm as you would pull a handbrake in a slight hill.

I usually first hand tighten the filter and do 3/4 turn final tightening

Çubuğa bakarak dolum yapmak iyi olur, araba düz yerde olsun, üst çizgi geçilmemesi tavsiye ediliyor.

Biraz motor çalıştıktan sonra kontrol etmekte fayda var. Filtrenin de içine dolduğu için seviye azalacaktır bir tık.

Duster is the lowest priced SUV at the aouto market. It has low fuel consumption, confortable and large inner space, it is very popular in many countries, I'm happy with it too.
