Dacia Skill Race/Trail (Duster Camp) - For those who couldn't make it to Rucar (Romania), we compiled the footage from the official Dacia competition, so that you can all enjoy the race by watching the battle between 1st and 2nd place. 8 seconds was the difference between 1st and 2nd place and another 8 seconds between 2nd and 3rd. The route was a medium-short one and adapted to regular drivers. In addition to the Trails members who competed at this event, we were happy that we had the opportunity to talk about many of the design aspects with Yohann Ory, the chief designer of Dacia, but also to listen to Dacia's future plans from Mihai Bordeanu (Dacia brand director ).

- In the first part we have the versus race with the half time differences. In the green car, Cristian needed a good few seconds to engage the 4x4 and to decide on the driving style he decides to have, not to mention the screeching noise with the handbrake applied in the 4x4. Cosmin in the blue duster is determined from the beginning and has no dilemmas in approaches.
- At the halfway point of the race Cosmin has a gap of almost 6 seconds and even if the race balances out in the second part, he still has much better identified acceleration zones and adds another 2 seconds at the end.
In the middle of the video you have the view from the dashboard of the green duster.
- It provides an interesting aspect to compare the perspective of the driver vs that of the spectator. I also left the discussion at the end where the green duster was taken by surprise by the congratulations.
- The awards ceremony and the discussions there follow (the background comments are teasing between Cristi duster green and Cosmin duster blue)
And at the end you have a bonus of versus in the ramp on the dry grass between the AT tire and summer tires.
- 3 different approaches can be observed depending on speed and inertia, as well as the surface traction of the Duster, which practically neutralizes the tire differences (pronounced crampon vs more rubber on the ground due to friction).
