It's a thankless job especially when it comes to animals. Once those babies grow up they'll leave their mother and never return to her as adults.

The lizard would of naturally dropped its tail as part of an escape plan. The tail stays behind and wiggles so it distracts the predator.

Lizards when attacked shed their tails to distract the attacker. The shed tail wiggles several moments while the owner tries to escape if he's lucky.

Imagine mother feeding wholeday long untill her kid's doesn't stop asking food! Not only a days it would be a month or more till they are able fly and find food by themselves, how important mother are we can't repay back her how much she loves to her kid.

I was worried about the myna chick with that long lizard. Parents pull out the food & reinsert. Great camera & tiny nest. It’s a constant feeding chore until they’re juniors.
