Omg that’s so true lmao. My dad didn’t want me and my brothers to keep a cat my brother bought at a garage sale. His name was Oreo and he acted like a dog. My dad worked from home and Oreo lived in his office. They were best buds. They spent all day together. Every night after 10pm Oreo would get a surge of energy and my dad would play with him for like 45 min. When he got really sick and needed to be put down my dad was on a business trip. We waited 2 days for him to get back so he could see him one last time because they were best buds

When our jack/chihuahua Passed my husband stood and cried like a baby! The last thing Billy did was wait until my husband got home in front of the door.my hubby picked him up and put him in his bed beside ours,sat down beside him. Billy let out a big sigh and went to be with Jesus... We had him 14 yrs. I can t wait to see him again....

as a 69 year old man, I found 2 kittens in my back yard crying,,, no mommy around,,, soaking wet because it rained that day, so I adopted them and was going to give them away,,,but,, I couldn't,, I fell in love with them and now, I belong to them. After seeing this man and how he interacts with his dog, I can understand how the heart can feel love for our animals I do so with mine too.

My wife has hated cats as long as we've been married. In August, my mom passed away and after years of begging, my wife comes home with a kitten to help ease the grieving process for my son. The kitten is now my wife's kitten, and she came home with a second one a few weeks ago. The cat hater now has two kittens who follow her around and sleep next to her all day and she loves them!

I love big dogs, my little girl is over 115 pounds... That tiny chihuahua's legs scare me!!! I'd be too afraid to break them!!! Having said that, my parents had a chocolate, long haired Chihuahua as tiny as this one who once walked on Long Beach on the West Coast of Vancouver Island for hours, refusing to be picked up!

My Chihuahua is chill as well. She lets me balance her on my arm on her back ((I always do this over soft things.)) She prefers to be held with her feet dangling. She is my second shadow. I love her

@@hybridwere My daughter's long haired Chihuahua loves to be swaddled. She will bring you the baby blanket & after you wrap her up, she'll be smiling away until she falls asleep in there. She loves the baby swing or stroller as well. She doesn't bark either. It's like she's this weird furry infant.

We have alway’s had chihuahuas in our home for the last 35 years ever since my youngest son was born with severe asthma they usually live till around 11 or 12 years old we’re on our fifth woman she is three years old her name is Gracie Bill my husband is a big burly rough man and he dearly loves that dog and she loves him but we don’t call her dogs are not allowed to say that in our house is baby or girl or anything but dog I am A terminal cancer patient this dog has actually added years to my life and has been saving me she is the greatest gift that anyone has ever given me besides my children and grandchildren.😇

It's funny how that happens. My son and his girl got a cat together......he (the cat) was basically like their child. Then they broke up and my son ended up with the cat. He was the sweetest kitty and was always hanging around my daughter. 😊

This was my dad. We got a Golden when my siblings and I were 13-15. My dad wasn’t against the idea, just indifferent. Once we had him, He loved the hell outta that dog, especially after we’d all moved out. Cade (the dog) became his child. My dad was a pretty stressed out kind of dude. It was nice to see him be goofy on occasion. Dogs are very important people.

I believe the real reason why dads "don't want a dog" is because they actually DO want the dog, they just don't want the heartbreak when the dog ends up eventually dying, as well as seeing his wife and kids crying because of the same heartbreak.
