My parents were divorced at that age. I was not happy about it, but I was not super petulant like that little girl. That step mother looks like a decent person. The girl is just full of herself.

Sad to hear about your own family. I am glad you are well adjusted despite all the hardship that time and situation was on your life. But also praying for you and your fam. I do agree with you, that the new step mother is wayyy decent and compassionate with the little girl, but it's her father that is just lousy. Girl is acting out more because of her dad. he cares more about himself, his new GF/ wife and her son new son, with no ounce of thought to daughter. And infront of his happiness in the new relationship he forgets his daughter all together. She is acting our with good reason, thus I feel that it is understandable that she is acting out. If the daughter is just full of herself, the dad is more MORE times that. He should have seen that coming, though I doubt he would, since he is wrapped up in other things. It is sad to see when other people care more about one's kid, than one's parent. I feel like that GF/stepmother needs to find a better man rather than the girl's father.

I think Moli finally understand why her parents divorced because of her being a girl instead of a boy. I understand how it feels because the Asian parents do treat the boys special. My parents wanted son, but ended up with seven girls because they were hoping to have more sons. I was surprised when Mom wish she could have just one child was enough, but Dad wanted more. 😮😮😮😮😮

Actually the girlfriend is literally the ONLY person respecting that Jasmine isn't into it and doesn't try to push it. She just tries to be civilized and nice and then backs off AND makes her son back off, when she sees the girl isn't into it. She was also the ONLY person to notice when Jasmine ran away that first day, and was the first one trying to find her. She's not a saint, but as a mother I have to say, she's not the big idiot here, the father is.

I'm sorry but no the mother and the daughter are literally getting on my damn nerves. Yes is the father inept yes he not thinking of his daughter but the mom letting her be a damn brat and borderline disrespectful is crazy. He needs to spend more time with her knowing how she feels and they both need to talk to her about how its not her fault their divorce and what it means that they arent together but this act an ass to a woman that has been rather respectful to the little girl and her mom and even read the damn room at the gym stopping her son when he was talking about playing with the dad. This is super annoying. They are acting ridiculous with this girl.
