Love this song - I grew up in NYC and live in the South and I am REALLY tired of all of the black-against-white BS they keep peddling. Tom and Dax have been friends for years, Tom has a message in all his songs, Dax said Tom sent him several songs to pick from to feature on and he picked this one, he said he saw that it could bring people together and he was right. All 3 of these Artist are AMAZING. Tom , Dax and Nova are all from Canada originally and Adam is Chicago Il. They all have a different styles and the came together and made this work. Tom did a song called Whiteboy and I think that started his rise and it was VERY controversial. All of his music has a message and if you listen to the words in all of his songs he makes a LOT of sense. I believe Dax joined them in the last line because the verses preceding it basically pulled them together. All of them "hanging out the truck screaming I don't give a f#$%, I be on some [X] people s%&^" The unspoken point being that we're the same on the inside, and it's society throwing the labels at the same behavior that both exhibit. Also, coming from someone who doesn't 'get' rap/hip hop, this track is absolute fire.

Don't forget House of Pain. Also a lot of reactors are realizing that Vanilla Ice wasn't entirely as bad as people made him out to be. He came out around the time of MC Hammer and such where the popularity was softer rap and mass appeal. His label I think should take the hit because they determine what is pushed.

He then sent an email to Tom, saying his political views is what prevents his song being played. Even though Tom track that was getting attention was a love song to his girlfriend Nova.
