Looking forward to 3 & 4! Nice to see Dad enjoying our amazing rap line. As you mentioned these were some years ago, and there is growth through all 4 Cyphers. And I'm especially proud of j-hope, who did not start off as a rapper. But he had RM and Suga (who better :) to guide his journey to the rapper he became. He has his own distinct voice and style, and he is one of my favorite voices.

That was Namjoon rapping the part where you said Jhope at the 8 minute mark. This is a triptych, and like a triptych painting, the part in the middle is the longest. Jhope starts with the little intro (the "because of who..." part) which is repeated at the beginning of Suga's verse at the end and then does his rap, then the beat changes and RM takes over with the long verse in the middle, then Suga comes back with the original beat and "because of who" chorus before switching back into the same beat as RM and wrapping it all up. Cypher 2 is my favorite for its technical aspect and for RMs verse, which is fire of course. Can't wait to see what you both think of cyphers 3 and 4! 3 is my favorite cypher over all. They talk crazy smack in 3. also...wait until you see these songs performed live. The swag will end you. You've been warned 💜

I just can't wait for you to get to their live trilogy of the cyphers it is soooo good! Your dad has to see Jhope's live after you listen to his album. It's a goodie and review Suga's album. They are all fire. RM has an eclectic album with quite a few different genres and really good however it wasn't rap heavy like Suga and Jhopes album.

Cypher pt. 2 is as good as Cypher pt. 3 and pt.4, but it's so underrated

The Rapline is what started my journey into BTS. Each of them are different but yet special! They are AMAZINGLY talented especially live! (They are actually better liv!) I’m 52 years old and stopped liking rap in the 90s. Snoop, Eminem, etc were amazing. I had no interest in listening to the cyphers or any rap line content. Now? That’s the main stuff I listen to. Suga is my bias. I can’t get enough of BTS rap line.
