When you have a baby, a diaper bag quickly becomes your primary EDC Bag (Every Day Carry). Mothers will normally put together the diaper bag, but it usually ends up becoming a diaper bag / purse hybrid. This works great for moms but as much for dads. The “Daddy Diaper Bag” is designed to be a dad-friendly modularized diaper bag that has all of the daily essentials you may need for your newborn/infant. Small, compact and organized with a tactical yet practical mindset. This particular model is designed for a baby girl, but can easily be reconfigured for a baby boy with appropriate color modifications.

I love that you mentioned babies having blankets as their EDC. I never thought about it, but kids do have EDC items.

+TheRos4211 Yep. Everyone has an EDC, whether they know it or not. A baby's EDC is minimal but very functional for their needs.

Congrats on the new addition man! One little tip I found when mine was that age- at some of the nicer baby changing stations, there are little plastic protection sheets so you don't have to put your baby directly on the plastic. They are ultra thin/light, waterproof, but they also have a soft fabric layer for comfort. Anyway, I found those are nice to have around so you're not contaminating your receiving blanket (and them forgetting which side is contaminated) if you have to change them on a questionable surface. Also, they are good if you want to sit/kneel in grass that is a little wet. Plus, the price is right!

+Logic Bob I may need to look into this more. I found that I rarely used it, but that may change with Version 2.0. :)

Congratulations on your new baby! Kid-prepper is going to make an awesome big brother :D Two suggestions: 1) baby leg warmers. They're great for covering up babies arms or legs if the weather gets chilly. They'll also last a long time, our two year old has been wearing the same set of legwarmers since he was about 3 months old. Suggestion 2 is to get a couple of the binder clips from the office supply store (or um...liberate some from your office) and keep them with the stroller. You can use them to tack up the flannel blanket to the hood of the stroller on an especially bright day, or if you get caught in a bit of a drizzle and don't have a rain cover.

As a young prepper who just had his first kid this weekend, I appreciate this video, all of these products are still in common use and I found most of them at the baby section in the pharmacy. Now I've got my baby go bag all set up

Congrats. I have a new daughter as well. This bag seems to be the one most go with. I really didn't want to get into any more trouble with buying more gear. lol. I was able to get all my necessities into my Maxped Lunada. I added 2 cocoons and a bottle holder to the sides and it was good to go.

+Urban Survivalcraft The Diaper Dude is a nice bag too. That was my first bag, although I felt that it couldn't be re-used once the baby no longer needed a diaper bag. The verispack can be re-used for so many other systems.

Lol. I used the diaper dude bag during a rifle class as a go bag with rifle mags in the front pockets. A tactical diaper bag if you will.

Congrats for your baby girl! We too got our first one just two weeks ago, so your timing with the video is perfect. I'll probably pack something simpler that I can carry as a module in my backpack: a few diapers, some wipes, cleaning cloth, perhaps minimal change clothes. Winter is coming, so can't keep anything that could freeze in the car. Warm "MRE's" are always available from the two integrated dispensers in her mom, but I suppose carrying some formula for emergency would not be a bad idea. I suppose it would serve as survival food for adults alike... Now that I come to think about it, would be rather perfect universal survival food? Does not store long though.

Wow, this is a great version of the Daddy Diaper Bag! You are very systematic, even with child based kits which is great! You're children are very lucky and it really gets me thinking about how my Prepping Systems would change if I decide to have kids in the future! :)

Congrats again on the new addition! I am not a parent yet, so it's very interesting to see what all you carry in your diaper bag that is also basically your EDC bag.
