Ain't nothing wrong with old school "Pro Stars" or "Drag Lites" as long as their are made by Weld Racing then I say leave well enough alone as long as something isn't broken don't fix it my dad ran a set of Drag Lites on his car for over 15 years and he just recently switched to a set of Pro Stars a few years ago and he's been running them for a little under 10 years now he ran the Drag Lites when his car was all steel all glass stock leaf spring suspension and he was running low 11s with a 355cid SBC N/A with a TH350 trans and a Big 10 rear end with 4.11 gears and now his car has a little fiberglass (hood,deck lid, and bumpers) mini tubbed with a 4 link rear end and a 427cid SBC with a big 1050 Dominator 4500 carburetor on 1 kit of nitrous and fab9 rear end with 4.56 gears through a TH400 trans and his car runs low 8s in a 1/4 and low 5s in the 1/8th
