I'm aware that a lot of people have uploaded this already, however, I have looped it for your listening pleasure, and will try to do so with more themes. Thanks to eventhubs for uploading the picture and theme.

This is honestly one of the best villains of all time because there’s no sugarcoating. There’s no super sad backstory or sympathetic motive, he’s just absurdly powerful and pure evil. We don’t get enough insanely evil villains anymore. Also his design whips and is pretty much what I envision when the concept of “villain” comes to mind.

Too many villains nowadays are the type that are redeemable to the point where you'd expect them to become part of the main cast of heroes. It sucks because it means the actually well written ones still feel disappointing. We need more Brolys to make the redeemable villains more entertaining!

Dormammu: Can create energy beams, Fire blasts, dark holes, meteors, gigantic explosions, teleport, surround you then shrink you into a small orb and proceed to crush you in his own realm/territory, when he is already powerful enough to rival only two people just as mighty as him (Dr. Strange and Shuma Gorath), and exceed the rest of the fighters. Gets K.O'd by a lawyer sneezing on him.

...Underrated? Go to any Top 10 Marvel villain list and he'll be pretty high on the least. Underrated among casual fans maybe, but to Marvel fans, Dormammu is one of the greatest among Marvel, easily the best Doctor Strange villain.

What I find amusing is that Dormammu and Shuma Gorath and both individually strong enough to fight and potentially beat Galactus all by themselves. A lot of people underestimate the unfathomable power of Dormammu.

I don't know if it's just me, but I find it strange seeing Dormammu in a fighting game. I remember I didn't know anything about him before MvC3. Once I did some research, I found out he could literally exterminate 98% of the game's roster quite easily (the other 2% are Shuma and Strange); heck, he'd give Galactus a good fight by himself. The guy's a freaking badass! 8)

Make that 95%. Thor, Dante, and Vergil would atleast put up a decent fight against him xD. Same could be said for Amaterasu and Dark Phoenix. But he wrecks the rest of the cast quite easily.

Kyuubiroar1 Everyone forgets Akuma can transform into Oni, they forget Akuma can handle Asura and Oni can handle Asura's strongest form. Remember how strong Asura is, he defeated omnipotent gods who are the size of millions of galaxies and can literally make a big bang. Akuma could actually defeat the whole marvel cast but everyone ignores this.

a800562 Asura defeated Chakravartin, who was by no means omnipotent for the single fact that he was defeated. An omnipotent being has no possible weaknesses. Furthermore, oni akuma is DEAD EVEN with Asura, they fought for 500 years straight. Lastly, Dormammu in his strongest form is said to be on universal scales.

It seems like they'll stick for z-list Kaecilius and two-faced Mordo for now...and if we're lucky, we get something of a tentacle demon similar to that of Shuma-Gorath. Dormammu seems like a mid-credit scene surprise.

Astral Moon In Ultimate MvC3 in Heroes VS Heralds there's a card you can get (Multiple Man) that let's you have 3 of the first character you chose instead of 3 characters normally, so you could. I prefer 3 vergils though.

My most favorite Marvel Villain along with Shuma-Gorath. This is how evil truly looks and the power along with that shows as he is Marvel's strongest villain with Shuma-Gorath behind him in the power scale. Too me he is the strongest villain in Marvel and always will be and I like him a lot and with everything he can do pretty much along with defeating Eternity just shows he is the bane of the Mavel Universe. He has so much potential here and that is so awesome and I'm happy he appeared in Doctor Strange.

Dormamu is the living representation that oppression only creates more oppressors when they gain power because Dormamu started being the protector of his sister and when he saw that others wanted to harm people like him/his people he thought it would be cool to dominate and destroy everyone who was a future threat to him summary oppressing is wrong because somehow you will create something just like you or worse.

So, movies out aaaaand..... Personally, its a good setup for a big player in the MCU. True, we mostly see him in his astral form, but if you look closely at the design, you can see some iconic features: -The obsidian looking head being the most obvious. -The cage and armor spikes around his head region. -You can also see some armor peaking out in places. So yeah, its no doubt that we will see his more physical form down the road. (And hey, atleast you can say what we saw LOOKS like the character he's based off and not just being lazy and making him a giant space cloud.)

This is false on many levels. But, to put it simply... Shuma Gorath is powerful in influence, he can make things happen to cause chaos because he gets off on that shit. Dormammu in just straight powerful, being able to take on "Eternity" which is the embodiement of the entire marvel universe... *and win.*
