tbf he had added cilantro and afaik cilantro isn't super loved in Korea (I think it's more common in asians to have that gene that makes cilantro taste like soap idk). Also the lime, in Korean cuisine lime isn't as common.

I notice in these cooking competitions that the nicest and most humblest ones are oftentimes the winners. I love that. They never over talk their dish, and they don’t have much negative to say about the other’s dishes ♥️

Exactly, my hot honey wings are fried first and then coated in my sauce blend. You get that flavor and a nice crunch…so good! I don’t mind the other way but hating on fried, it’s a great texture profile.

Yes I like the blindfolded videos too, but since there were only three of them & they had freedom to choose the wing flavor, I think they would be able to tell which is theirs.

I've never heard someone complain about a wing being fried more than this guy. Most people like fried wings. He kept talking about how the wings needed to be air fried or baked. Most people love fried wings and then add different types of sauces and stuff to it. Especially for game day. I'm still a little confused on that. Lol

You can't hate on chicken too badly. Even if it wasn't marinated at all. As long as it's cooked it's gonna taste fine, can't be so bad you'd spit it out or anything. The women are making stuff from scratch, so there's many ways to mess stuff up. The men are cooking the same chicken, just heating it different ways and marinating it.

@@melissaauguste9875 Gochujang (고추장) is Korean red chili paste, we eat it with beef, rice, sesame leaves and kimchi, mix it into bimbimbap (rice bowl with lots of vegetables as toppings), and use it in cooking in general. It's also used to make the sauce for Korean fried chicken 💛 You should try it! It's spicy, savory, and a bit sweet as well :)

I hate how people criticize irrelevant things 😭 “I don’t like so much sauce.” “I like my wings sticky” bruh huh? Judge the flavor and presentation and carry on. True judgment is not based off your preference, but what is expected of the dish and how well was it executed. In my opinion Arthur’s wings (the true winner) sounded different and not something anyone can just get. Fried Southern style wings loaded with garlic and Parmesan? Sign me up‼️

Arthur for the win! Armani's wings looked delicious, but he didn't have the sportsmanship Arthur had. Also, in regards to the SuperBowl, we don't care that your wings are different and bring something else to the table. It's the Superbowl, a "tradition," like traditional fried chicken wings w/ great flavor. Go Arthur!

If you bake wings and then broil them when they are finish you can get a nice crispy/charred-like skin.

I think Tony lowkey knew that Armani's wings were also Korean BBQ inspired and didn't want anyone to show him up on his own jig so he played it off as though Armani's wings were Spanish and as if they weren't as good as they really were 😂
