It's actually extremely common for Chaos servants to actively hate chaos, but it doesn't stop them from using it and being used by it. Ahriman is absolutely convinced that he's in control of his own destiny. Abaddon believes he's his own man. Fabius tries so hard to convince himself that he's going to make a universe free of chaotic influence. Let them all think they're in control. As long as the job gets done, who gives a shit if the pawns think themselves kings.

@@justwannabehappy6735 NL are corrupted but they aren't happy about it. Lore wise they tend to look down heavily on anyone who is, even Warp Talons. And they definitely do not like a Daemon Prince leading them, but they will accept it until someone stronger takes them out. It's how they are, they are flawed to a T.

The difference is the demon gets a new cool mechanical body but has to work for the creator while the other legions tend to just do stuff for the gods for power or just let a demon in and control them

There's a difference here: Hear me out. It's like the difference between taming a horse and fucking a horse. One is basically a living tool you use for something. As well as showing dominance to something that would otherwise not want to be tamed and broken to your will. The other one requires you to be the bottom in a situation where you shouldn't bottom or even be in in the first place, it's such an unfathomably stupid idea.

Night lords are way more into Chaos corruption than the Iron Warriors. It's one thing to allow mutation to fuse you with your weapons and jump packs (like raptors), it's another to enslave a Daemon and use it's suffering as fuel for your tanks.
