Daemon & Rhaenyra would've produced legitimate heirs earlier if Viserys had let Daemon be her MALE-WIFE. The throne would've been secured. Daemon would've kept the greens in check. Otto wouldn't be reinstated as Hand, Rhaenyra wouldn't have produced illegitimate sons. The marriage between Daemon & Rhaenyra was a decade too late. By then the Greens had garnered enough influence and support to claim the throne.

@@mat7506 According to the books.The show is revealing the objective truth not the lore. Martin's books are made up of lore with multiple sources. Martin said that even one of the Maesters in the books is made up. So, no one knows what is going to happen. As it stands right now, Daemon and Rhaenyra are deeply in love. Now, this may change and it may not. Rhaenyra may get an arrow before she gets fired on. Just saying -don't count your chickens until they hatch.

The book itself consists of the assumptions of people who only observe all the events. He strangled her to bring her to her senses, and the stress of losing her brother and daughter (this does not justify him, I also did not like the act itself, but from the very beginning it was necessary to accept the character as he is, and not idealize)

Lmao I agree with you completely. Never before had I wanted to see a love scene with a girl and her uncle so badly smh. The love scene didn't feel passionate enough and was way too short. I also don't think Emma and Matt had as great of chemistry as him and Milly, so it just didn't feel as believable.

@@ally9254 Firstly, I would NOT consider Rhaenyra submissive by any definition of the word. She is so firey/assertive as a young lady. Secondly, I think the lack of chemistry has more to do with the actors and directors filming. For example, the scene where younger her was kissing Daemon in a brothel was extremely passionate and spark-filled but the scene with older her and Daemon on the beach was very dark (literally) and run of the mill.

He has been grooming her since she was a child the show started when she was 14 but he has been doing it since she was 9 or 10 also daemon has a thing for underage girls and virgins. The show over romanticized their relationship for views when it wasn't this romantic. Their relationship is nice but its very toxic.
