He would not have wanted to go home to his brother ... why? also not to see Rhaenyra with another man and, in fact, in the last episode we see that when Laena tells him about Rhaenyra's children, he makes a joke in which he brings up Harwin ... strange thing for someone who does not see her for ten years and he doesn't want to know anything about his home. To many (including me) he seemed jealous. In episode seven she accuses him of abandoning her and he tells her he spared her. If you pay attention she tells him that, without him, her life has become a tragedy. He, only in that brief moment, gives her an honest answer (he is never clear, but he is ambiguous with everyone). I invite you to go and see what he replies to her. Basically Daemon replies: "I would like to know what you think about what has been of my life." .. It is an important answer because it is said after she told him that her life (without him) has become a tragedy .. Such an answer shows a glimmer in his heart, in which we see that he too has the same feeling and that he missed her very much. Then, of course, each of us can think as he wants 😊

Nah. He also wants and loves her, it is just after time skip she become more bold and more straightforward to show affection to him while he become more calm and laid back.

That's not true, he always loved her and cared for her, when she was young he stole the dragon egg but all she had to do was ask him and he returned it abandoning his whole plan. Even when he was fighting with his brother, he would bring gifts for her and talk to her about everything she is going through. Knowing what he is capable of, he could have easily killed Rhaenyra and gotten the throne for himself but he didn't because the iron throne and all his ambitions are on one side and Rhaenyra is on the other side. Even then you could see he would never harm her and he would do anything for Rhaenyra. He has only truly and selflessly loved one person in his life and that's Rhaenyra.

I agree with you.. I think the chemistry was totally off there.. I feel the chemistry with younger rhaenyra was very much noticable.. but here with older rhaenyra it's completely off..

The sex scene is just poorly made, in my opinion. It's dull and dark. There is no passion in it at all, though they longed for each other for so long. When we see her face, it shows absolutely no emotion. But the actors are good, so i think it's just bad writing

I agree .. I think the lack of passion is from rhaenery not dameon. The scene was meant to be sensual not ravishing. Her expression is flat .. no fire from her . Hope she improves as the episodes progresses

I disagree. Matt has chemistry with both Emma and Milly but in different way. Chemistry doesn't have to be fire but also can be connection or relationship or dynamic. While he and Milly were hot mess heat, he and Emma give warm feeling, romantic, also doesn't feel like uncle/niece so at least it is not creepy lol. I enjoy both. Matt is still awesome, he is king of chemistry.

I think older Rhaenyra is just more mature and self assured. Young Rhaenyra was like lightning bolts. Older Rhaenyra is a slow but insatiable smoulder. She is more experienced in life and love. The chemistry is still hot. It's just different as it should be. A lot of time has passed.
