@30S_ Yes, I think Thomas did Make Love. His accent and tone is softer in pitch. Guy-Man sang Harder Better Faster Stronger.

You might have seen it by now, but on Daft Punks official KZfaq channel they posted a video about the writing of fragments of time. You can hear his natural voice.

They had a band before Daft Punk called Darlin, if I have understood correctly from an interview it’s actually Guy-Man who did the vocals for that band so on two of the songs you can hear him sing without the vocoder/auto tune :)

Most of their vocals are not vocal tuning. The only time they used vocal tuning on their own vocals was in Digital Love and Something About Us. Other than that it's mostly vocoders, which modulate a vocal input with a synthesizer and create a robotic sound. I think they also used a talkbox a bit in RAM which basically amplifies a sound from an instrument (usually a synth) into a tube and you put the tube into the back of your mouth. It basically uses a synth to replace your vocal folds but still uses your mouth for resonance. Vocoders and talkboxes both require a decent amount of practice to make sound good as opposed to autotune. Not bashing autotune/vocal tuning though, it's its own beast and definitely has its place as a creative tool or as a production technique

I talked about this in another comment in the original upload with @DaveGlasses, I think Guy Man sings HBFS because of his stronger (lol) french accent, present in the word STRONGEUR

Hmmm, Thomas’ voice sounds near identical to when he sings Digital Love and credits put him as sole producer, do you have any other way to verify this? Guy-man’s voice has a stronger French accent -edit, never mind, Thomas appears as the only producer in Spotify only

I think there is a vocoder and the Instant Replay sample layered on top. On the Alive 1997 @ Mayan stream, you can clearly hear the separate vocoder and then the other half of the "musique" piece (the sample) appears. Portadanx's video covers the sampling of Musique and WDPK 83.7 FM quite well.

Another example is Pharrell's Gust of Wind, where DP is credited for additional vocals when really those vocoded vocals are actually Pharrell's voice processed through their gadgetry. They often say it doesn't matter for who's voice it is, so with almost certainty, Get Lucky's robotic vocals are from Pharrell.
