She is famous everywhere except the USA. Euro pop don't fair well there. American pop don't fair well in Europe. USA is a hard market for any artist no matter the genre of music it is.

The reason Dagny and many other talented musicians from Norway are not well-known is, frankly, who the hell follows Norway about anything? Our loss for letting a lot of talent go un-noticed.

The reason is because the music industry doesnt lift the really talented artists regardless of where they are from. There are so many talented artists in Norway fex who struggles to break through internationally cause either they are from the wrong country or hasnt got the right contacts. Its sad that only artists from the big music countries are given the chance even though there are so many more talented artists out there. To say «who the hell follows Norway about anything» is a bit condesending. Norway has lots to offer. It seems like more and more people have opened up to artists from other countries (like Norway), so thats good at least.
