In this video i would like to show how im doing the cross pollination. Its my first time doing this guys so take a grain of salt if you are doing this as well. If you have some comments please feel free to write it down on the comment section. Thank you 😊.

Rip all of the petals off after the flower is fully opened and it will help with avoiding rot

You got lucky with a lot of beautiful dahlias! Out of all of tye dahlias I've grown from Seed, they've all either been single, & an ugly yellow or red, or if double, it's been super super small. But going to continue to grow them, & see if I end up with anything beautiful! 🤞

Try to eye for the mother plant that you expect to have the traits of the dahlia flower that you would like to have. Its really takes a lot patience to get what u want but just continue doing it and you will reach your goal for sure 😊

@Francis Glenfiddich I have only grown from dahlia Seeds I've purchased... I bet that's my problem. I bought a lot of dahlia tubers this year though so hopefully my seeds will produce better results!
