Korea, China and many Japanese citizens regard the Rising Sun no different than the Swastika and many frown upon the distribution or revealing of such flag. They associate it with wartime and the atrocities committed then. The weapon requires a lot of the ship's power source to fire it but there can be one solution is either make the railgun smaller so it doesn't require much power. Other problems is the funding and costs of the railgun and battleship program. At the end of the day, time will tell and the battleships arent going anywhere.
