I think its a lot for a spectator to keep track of count....so maybe say out loud "This is 1st postion"...."this is number 2"...."this is number 3"....."this is number 4" .... etc.

I was just thinking of this trick and wanting to practice it. You saved me from having to hunt for it. It's such genius the way it creates 13 outs, 5 of which are pure miracles and the other 8 are merely impossible.

I did this trick to my sister, but I forgot to make the prediction after she chose her card, so I did it again and I landed with a two of hearts and a two of clubs face up!!

Two ways around that: 1) Do a turnover control to flip the card under the guise of the shuffle/cuts after they pick their card, or 2) Pre-mark the back of the fourth card (2C) with an "X" or star then just false shuffle and cut to the middle after they pick. Spread to show the "X" and no undercover turnover is needed. A double-faced 2 works just as well.

You have to say "think of a number between 1 and 13 and remember the card in that number." Usually people do always remember the number and the card!!!
