I noticed Daigo and Tokido are playing this character intriguingly differently. Daigo here is playing a more traditional shoto ground game, content to walk, fireball, and crouching medium his way into position. While Tokido was using his Demon Flip a lot more and utilizing his drive meter to get in a lot.

Yeah most pro players I can't hardly follow their playstyle but Daigo, its like I'm reading similar sheet music to what I know. I love how he just goes for it and if the opponent ever stops him he just reacts and gets back to whoopin.

Most of these guys probably aren't gonna use him long-term. They're trying him out a bit because he's new, but they'll go back to their usual mains after about a week or two. Not even sure Daigo will stick with him. Only one I'm fairly confident will is Tokido.

I guess because in this game with so many offensive tools that a lot of characters have, Akuma's low health means that against high level opponents, if you don't play aggressively you'd more often than not die first before you beat them.

Quand Daigo joue avec les karatéka on ressent directement la différence. On dirait que Akuma a été fait pour lui, les mouvements sont tellement naturels comparé aux autres gameplay que j'ai pu voir. Ça se voit qu'il maîtrise et qu'il peut se permettre d'utiliser les mouvements les plus compliqués de Gouki ce qu'on ne voit pas souvent chez les autres pro.

I never like these vids, while diago is crushing, people dont know how to deal with the character and are all playing defensive, making mistakes etc so it makes diago and the character look better/stronger than he is. Its day 1.
