Жыл бұрынI've been to some pretty cool places in my lifetime but seeing Daigo Saito's playland in Saitama in-person was truly something unique. Over the past year or so, I've seen photos and video of his "Fat Five Land" completed but never thought I'd have the opportunity to see it. My fascination of Japanese drifting has always been more from the perspective of someone looking in from the outside. I don't really know any Japanese drifters personally and I've only watched them on streams and in competition. Fat Five Land was a place I wanted to visit, but it never seemed like it was in the realm of possibility. When Sara hit me up to see if I wanted to go, I was honestly pretty surprised! Of course I said yes and here is another checkmark on a long list of places I have longed to see!...

I'm not really into drifting, but I have so much respect for those who can do it in tandem. That's some incredible car control and trust in the other driver, watching the two Miatas skirt the wall together like that.

Such a dope experience! Love how welcoming he seems to be. Literally a playground for car people. Cemetery and train right next door too. Japan continues to be one of the best places in the world thanks to people like Daigo haha. Love that bit about needing to have a meeting haha. I had a meeting during my trip too. Had to do it from midnight to 1am...I may or may not have had several highballs at the time....

I've seen a lot of videos of drifting there, but never any of the other stuff. It's pretty sweet. I'm guessing being next to a cemetery cuts down the amount of noise complaints.
