I've 2014 model with same package. I've driven this car till Naaran in June-2021 with 4 adults (1 medium, 2 small luggage definitely 😜), my car was 65k driven at that time. I carried a spare wheel instead of whole puncture kit storage box under the boot carpet. I've also same size of tyres as he mentioned in his review and all his reviews are correct. The only thing which I felt during a tour to Naaran Kaghan is; this car is not suitable for those kind of ramps but never gave any hurdle other than engine power. In city use, this is perfect as of small car but AC compromises in traffic congestion of extreme hot weather (above 40'c) 🥺 I've travelled from KHI -> Multan -> ISB -> Mansehra -> Kaghan -> Naaran then back to KHI with same route. On (kind of) Kalar Kahar up ramp it never goes beyond 30 KM of speed 🥺But on downhill highway near ISB it goes around 200 KM of speed which was my fault (wanna see controls on max speed) and never did it again but after 180 it gave me feeling out of control, and under 160 everything was fine. In city use, fuel avg is around 13 to 14 due to tyre size and on highway max avg was 21 KM/L with loaded weight and speed not more than 90km.

Great review 🔥 I have the same model and import but a blue light version till today. Honestly, I have driven a new toyota and multiple other modern vehicles but Mira somehow provides a much better driving experience and comfort. It's just a great car. Japanese automotive engineers have done a wonderful job on this car and there's a reason why we see so many of them on the roads despite the problem of parts availability etc.

Excellent review, to the point. What happened with the Suzuki guy who hit your mirror? A few things which can save you money as you are overdoing those: Throttle body cleaning should not be done unless you see any problem in engine idling e.g. rpm varying on its own, if you are regular with engine air filter changing, then my guess is that you should not have the need to clean the throttle body for 30,000 km (3 years), similarly, a well kept & tuned car shouldn't need cat cleaning for 30,000 km (3 years). Stay blessed.

Thanks, well I dont get TB and CC cleaned by detaching them. For TB I use throttle cleaner spray just a couple of sprays and for CC I use mild acid that too diluted with almost 60:40 ratio where 60% is acid rest water.

I have this car. I have maintained it pretty good with regular oil changes, filter changes, tuning, good fuel, catalytic converter cleaning, light foot driving but still this car gives me 12km/ltr in Karachi. Any help please?

check your wheels if they are okay with air pressure of 28, use coolant in your car, put havoline engine oil 5w 40, I would suggest using highoctane for a month but make sure your catalytic is clean. I follow all these steps plus the one you mentioned and I have this car since 2018 it is 80k km driven and it gives me 16 km/l in karachi.

Which engine oil do you use (viscosity) tyre pressure should be 30 - 31 psi. Wheels should be properly aligned. What about your driving habits ?

The charges for availing this service for cars up to 1000cc is PKR 3,000. Moreover, the price for vehicles above 1000 cc is PKR 5,000. Furthermore, for premium cars, which include 4×4, Jeeps, and German vehicles, you have to pay PKR 7,500

I also have Diahatsu mira LSA 2014 model, I change oil and filters regularly but haven't done cleaning of catalytic converter.can you tell me is it a specialised job or any mechanic will perform it and how much it will cost ? Secondly please inform about cvt oil replacement and coolant replacement criteria

can you please tell me what engine oil do you use for this car ? I would suggest get your catalytic clean from a specialised mechanic I would recommend you to get it done from cat clean. They are located on star gate karachi. It will cost you around 3k I am not sure. you dont need to change CVT unless it blinks on your speedometer. If it is blinking get it change from toyota motors as this is a work of perfection.

Yes for cat cleaning you need to visit machenic, cvt fluid should be replaced at 50,000 kms and coolant on 100,000 kms or 5 years which ever comes first

Mere pas bhi yehi car thi 2014/2017 lakin 2021 k start me gari ne ak ak kr k kam nikalna shuru krdiye thy kabhi race paddle kharab hojata tha kabhi eco idle kabhi gear box me masla ajata tha mana tang akar sale krdi...
