Yes, there is a option to see room temperature and desired temperature. "Long press" the Display button in your AC remote. The New model of Daikin comes shows triple display option.

The problem with daikin ac is there is no temperature display on the unit , also remote is not backlit ,,so at night it is a big trouble nothing can be done

Hold the timer cancel button down for 5 seconds, with the remote controller set direction toward the indoor unit. Or Try by resetting a Daikin air conditioner remote control , On the remote of the air conditioner, look for the 'On/Off' button. Press the 'On/Off' button and hold it for 3 seconds before you release the same. Now once again press the 'On/Off' switch for stopping operation. Then try to switch on the AC. Best options but a bad remote display.small and blurry. Ac can display compressor percentage(power consumption), current room temp and set temp. Just long press for 3 seconds the display button.

By default set temperature is 24 in all the brands to save electricity point of view. So need to change the desired temperature every time when switching on.

economy mode runs the compressor slower. This reduces the pressure in the condenser it means the motor uses less energy to run the system. It reduces overall cooling capacity but increases efficiency. ... When ac is on cool, the fan will stay running even when compressor shuts off. 24 is a default temperature set by the companies and at 24 it is comfortable cooling for us and at the same time it reduce electricity bill also. If you want less cooling then you need to increase the temperature 🌡️. And if you want more cooling then you need to reduce the temperature.
