There are two models available at the same time, FTXF and FTXC. But what is the difference between them? How do you choose one or the other? This is clear and understandable, great video. However what I still can't figure out is what the difference is between for example FTXF/A, FTXF/B, and FTXF/C. Same for the FTXC... The video mentions FTXC/B, however I see there's and FTXC/C too. What do the letters after the "/" sign indicate? For example what's the difference between FTXF35A and FTXF35B and FTXF35C?

@@victorkilo8427 No, not really... The video linked by Instarom Instalaţii România above answers some of the questions, but not all... I think it has to do something with the model year too. In the end, I just bought one. The manual says it's an FTXC-B, but the unit itself looks like an FTXC-C, so there's that... I didn't really care in the end.

Both are current models in the Daikin lineup for wall-mounted split type air conditioners. They are similar for powers up to 3.5 kW, but for powers of 5 kW and above, the outdoor units are larger and heavier in the FTXF range, which means a larger heat exchanger which normally implies that it will do better at heating.
