I love Jude. While trying to hear it though, I started thinking about work. Now I have to go to work, and have no time to listen again. This is how it goes these days, as I have a desire to the Scripture and something in the world demands my immediate attention.

cast your burdens onto Jesus for HE cares for you… try envisioning that Jesus walks beside you at your place of work, during issues and things/people that bother you there… I know it is difficult when you can’t focus. And I think for me, it has got worse the older I become…dementia runs on both sides of family…and Satan just sits there trying to bring me down with comments like ‘you’ll never remember this, or that…’ about God’s Word…. Or. ‘You are getting old and forgetful…!!’ Or…’why even bother listening….never does you any good!?!?’ I remind Satan that I have the mind of Christ… even if I could no longer retain anything or make sense anymore (as in some types of Dementia) God loves me because I accepted Him, He saves me, and protects me from my enemies… I am His and He is mine!! Stand firm on your faith, put on your armour, remember GOD wins and defeats Satan, and He sacrificed His Son because HE loves you. Don’t entertain putdowns from the father of lies!! Praying for you, all others whom Satan tries to bring down, and praying for myself too!

Clouds without water! This was the reading that contained the name of your seminar. That's really cool. It got me thinking. Would the ancients have generally understood that clouds contain water? I think the answer is no. Most of the pagan world attributed rain, for example, to one of their gods. They had a pre-scientific view of clouds, rain and water. But our God - the true God - revealed to the writer that clouds contain water. Thus, the criticism of false teachers as clouds without water makes a mockery of their rebellion. It is a form of biblical satire that we see over and over again in reference to the enemies of God and His people. Anyway, thanks, Justin for doing this. It's been very helpful for me and I love the LSB. I love that it translates the tetrgramaton as Yaweh!

Jude and rhe James he mentons were two Jesus four half brothers, Marys other sons with Joseph. She also had at least two daughters. Josoeh only kept her s virgin until sfter the birth of her first born, not only child.
