The thing is that in the Teyvat chapter preview video, pulcinella was the Featured character for the Snezhnaya chapter. It would be strange to have every other featured character playable (Diluc, Ninguang etc) but not him imo

the snezhnaya chapter also has mob npcs (the fatui soldiers). it's also the first region to meet characters from long before the region actually releases; i wouldn't be surprised if they decided to break the rules. if they do decide to release him, they could just cop out of having to create an entirely new character model by having him abandon his flesh form and transplanting his consciousness into a robot. or he dies and his spirit isn't able to move on and we play him as a ghost. or he's reincarnated into a little girl like kite from hxh idkkk

My personal theory (leak-free) is that it'll become some kind of Arlecchino situation. They could perhaps work together at *some* point, but their views don't fully allign (meaning he doesn't get a full redemption arc).

The only thing that makes Pulcinella MAYBE playable is the travail trailer, and he doesn't even have a face there. There absolutely no way hoyo makes an entirely new model just for him and other old small coots, but I am still inhaling copium. Watch him have a foul legacy transformation and becomes a tall male model
