I went to Guatemala last summer for two weeks and it was the most amazing experience. I actually stayed at Lake Atitlan for about 4 days? It's so beautiful and I can't wait to go back. I wish I could live there like yall are!

It's very common to see beautiful sunrises there. From a whole month I stayed in Panajachel Lake Atitlan, I enjoyed this type of sunrises/sunsets, better than anywhere else in the world, so gorgeous and inspiring. I'm planning my next visit to Lake Atitlan soon, but I rather stay in Panajachel, the main town around the lake.

They were so big - that wasn't even a very big one! I liked them in the casita though, because they would eat the mosquitoes :)

We are laughing so hard. . . almost pee'd our pants. Great fun and of course a great location. Balto, Zippy, Canela, Silva, and Minnie, UpaLumpa (cat at Isla Verde) all say "HI". Safe travels and have fun until next time.

Excellent video. You guys did not hold back and you showed us exactly what not to or to expect. The bug in the food. The spiders in the showers, the beauty of the land, the garbage disposal and the beautiful early morning rise. What happens when there's a rain storm and where you live and where to get food and how screwed one can be if you forget an item needed for your meal plan. hahahaha.... You guys rock. Your video convinced me that I am not an adventure and as much as I'd like the beautiful landscape, I would not want to live there. I was there in 1976---pre Balto. Back then it was a quiet village....however it had many shops run by Gringo's and Gringo's, a kind of hippie heaven. I hope you experience heaven wherever you may travel

Looks like you ladies had fun. Where did you stay that you had to take a boat? we are staying at a school right in San Pedro. My husband got stung by one of those scorpions. Where was that waterfall hike? all I have found for hiking so far has been the vlocan. We to have been making a vlog of our driving from California to Panama.
