I find it very interesting to see how you live in Japan. I found your channel in my suggested videos a few months ago. I'm still catching up, but I too find them very calming and always very interesting. They take me back to happy times when I just began adulting and had my first apartment. I enjoyed shopping, cooking, and doing the things I needed done around the house. It was such an exciting time for me and it all comes back when I watch your videos. I also enjoy all the places you take us. Please don't stress about getting videos out on time, life happens sometimes. Take care of you first and even take a break if you need one. Your 1 LDK room seems to be very nice. When my wife and I travel to Japan we rent one all the time for the month. They are great little rooms that you can live in for a single person or just starting out on your own. Just remember that overall, no matter where you are in the world, you do belong. Why? Because you are a member of the human species and therefore you belong.

Hello Lou, I recently discovered your channel and it has brought me a lot of inner peace in a time whenI truly needed it... you inspire me so much, especially because I also work an office work and it is nice to see some of my routine in yours. A small advice about boiling eggs 🤗 place the egg in the water when it is cold, before turning on the stove. Then start counting the cooking time from when the water starts boiling, this way it will not crack

A little tip, when you place your egg in the water, place it on a spoon first and lower gently. Or you could pour boiled water over the egg and then cook.

Lou: to boil an egg put it in the cold water and let it heat slowly with the water - that way the egg will not crack! ❤❤❤

no. not a good idea because she won't know how long to cook it. Putting a dash of vinegar in the water will prevent the eggs from leaving the shell, if it cracks....

@@pierreranger69sorry to disagree - but I am 63 yrs old and have only ever cooked my eggs by putting them in cold water and bringing them to a rolling boil - then remove them from the heat - leave them in the pot with water - you learn the times by what kind of egg you want - I prefer firm yolks so let eggs sit for 7 mins before pealing and eating them or making egg salad or devilled eggs or putting eggs into potato salad - if you want soft yolks then obviously a shorter time - live and learn 🇨🇦🙏

I use the cold water method of boiling eggs all the time. Works very well indeed. Much easier than trying to lower an egg into boiling water. But Lou, if you want to continue with putting the egg in boiling water, you could use a large slotted spoon or any large spoon to slowly lower the egg into the water.

Lou I'm with you. I don't eat raw anything. It needs to be cooked. This was nice of your Company in the USA Companies use to do picnics in the summer for all the employees. .But they don't anymore. Watching these videos has become part of my morning/nighttime routine. They make me feel so relaxed and honestly inspire me to appreciate all the small things in my life too. Boiled egg: place egg ( or multiple eggs) in pot, add water to cover egg, place lid on pot bring to boil, let stand for 20 minutes and your boiled egg will be perfect.😊

24:23 rice is very common for a lot of countries, my last job has a lot asian people and they always ask if we eat rice and are surprised when the answer is yes, all the time 😂

Lou C. is an excellent video maker. They are so good edited, musicalised and subtitled just like a profesional Hollywood director. Very artistic and beautiful. The sounds are always perfect: calm, relaxing, even when a train is running. The way she prepare food and eat it help me a lot with my personal problems with nutrition. And help me too with my apartment cleaning issues.❤❤❤

I was once all on my own in my early 20s…I lived alone in different cities for 10 years…I know how much the little touches, like some flowers, or a treat for dinner, can just make it a better day. Your videos are so soothing and relaxing, and remind me of the parts of being on my own that I really enjoyed. I’m sure your family is so proud of you, and thank you for the gift of your videos. I did cook this on Tuesday and we both enjoyed a lot, I think I put to much tomato in there but it was good. Thank you for all you do, it is always nice for us to see you in your videos, it seems that you are in our home as much as we are in yours. Your videos have helped me so much with depression and anxiety. My dads ongoing struggle with stage 4 cancer, and recently put on a feeding tube hurts me so much. Your videos are my get away from everything, thank you❤️

Try putting your egg in the pot first, then add unheated water, bring it to a boil, shut off the heat and let it sit 13 minutes. THEN Rinse immediatly with cool water. And your eggs will be perfectly hard boiled! That are perfect for egg salad etc! ...If, I want runny yolks, I just het up frying pan and quickly cook whites only. I love your videos❤

Hi dear, i really enjoying your videos. if you don't mine i have to tell you something. When you put the new collagen powder, don't put it on the previous powder. first take previous power out of the bottle and put the new one's powder. after that put your previous powder because that previous powder of the bottom of the bottle will be expired before using them.
