it feels weird to say "getting laid off" but i guess its a very much possible thing in content creation too. nobody ever prepares you for the sadness and stress that comes with it. i guess in a way it makes you feel like you weren't good enough, but i know that wasn't the case. the financial stress and anxiety takes over and you feel like you're in survival mode. hopefully better things to come, but wanted to be vulnerable with you guys because its important to talk about these things o7

You do such a good job making so many different foods look so absolutely mouthwatering. That crepe thing y’all all shared looked bomb. More importantly the fact you can show the not so great moments and be truthful about your job is very commendable. ouch. that's a rough one. sorry to hear. Our company also cut out it's entire socialmedia/content creation department after only two years. Alot of people had to re-pivot their careers and figure out what they need to do to earn a steady paycheck.

You picked some good eating spots in the Bay Area. If you ever get back to SF, Jina Bakes in Japantown and either Arsicault Bakery on Clement or in the Civic Center have amazing pastries. Jina is known for the Daeho Kalbijiim Croissant while Arsicault has the beat Chocolate Almond Croissant.

Currently Japantown is under construction, in SF,CA. San Francisco& San Jose, both NorCal, are the only place with a Japan Town in the 🇺🇸 Edit: LA got a nice Japantown too
