Jer actually went to bed at a decent time but woke up near 5am. We cuddled and watched movies then he dozed again from 7-11.
He had a lot of secretions this morning during treatments and wasn’t as excited to go see Ms Jessica today. I thought he perked up once we got there but he didn’t want to get in the lite gait. Even though he has appeared stronger recently, it made his weakness today evident. Jer was unable to lift his head up or hold it on his own. We tied a band behind his neck so it wouldn’t fall backwards but you could see he wasn’t able to maintain it. Once home I knew to just let him rest today. We did play with playdoh but he wasn’t a huge fan. I ended up washing him in the tub early tonight as it’s about to storm and we also have to change his trach. Hope everyone had a good day!
Today we pray that you know even when you can’t hold your head up, God will put people and things in place to still help you along the way. May we never forget that God is good yesterday, today, tomorrow and forevermore.
