After what seems like years, Lilia brings her Inkling friend “Poool” back to Inkopolis after her long absence in public to see and observe how activities are together. Turf Wars and Competitive battles aren’t in session right now here, so what are the Inklings and freed Octolings doing on a daily basis for recess outside of winning competitive matches?
This video features a new character. I've been using the same characters on this channel a lot, because I personally prefer fewer developed characters than too many undeveloped characters, however this animation introduces a new face to the lineup. While her name was not mentioned in the video, she is known as Seraphina (aka Seraph), a mischievous Inkling who specializes in digital mockery. Inspired by punk/rock style hacker girl characters, she may have no traditional weapon of choice, but she's not afraid to look at your internet history or check the photos on your phone to use against you.
Just to clarify, the characters are not actually using real billiard balls (8-ball), according to my research, the characters are playing a game known as "Kemari" (蹴鞠), it's a game in Japan where you simply kick and keep a ball in the air using your feet as a team. If the characters in the animation were using actual oversized billiard balls, uhh.. you may have to install a lot more respawners.
