I never comment but I just had to pop in here to say thank you, thank you so much for giving blood. I had an emergency where I needed a blood transfusion and all I could think about is the person that donated a part of their body so another can live. ❤

I love donating blood but I keep getting tattoos and you can’t donate blood in Australia if you’ve gotten a tattoo in the last I think six months

I tried to give blood in 2021. They made me wait in a waiting room for two hours and then finally when I was called back, the guy tried to stick me a few times and told me he couldn’t get the needle in and then they told me to leave 😭 Wish I could just donate blood when I’m getting it drawn at the doctor’s!

Very confused about the golf cart thing - do you live in a golf estate or did you drive it on like normal roads? 😂 Ps. I wish I could donate blood but unless I land up overweight I won’t ever reach the minimum

In downtown Charleston, we drive them on normal roads. You can't drive them on roads with speed limits over 35mph so most of the roads downtown are drivable.

Every nurse complains about my veins. I have crappy veins so even just getting my blood drawn is a process. So donating blood not for me. I admire people who do. Some thing with pets believe it or not. Dogs and cats need blood donated as well.
