Verses 34-35: “Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, watching at my doorway. For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord.” Wisdom was with God in creation and is promised to any who seek it. “The Lord brought me (wisdom) forth as the first of his works.” v. 22

Brooke that was wonderful! I've been taking tons of notes everyday. I loved this one "the true wisdom of God is fulfilled in the person of Jesus, by seeking Jesus we can find wisdom." "If we know Jesus we can have confidence He will give us the wisdom of God." How comforting these words are to me. Thank you so much for this message.

Great teaching on Proverbs 8. One of my favorite verse in chapter 8 is 35, for whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord.

So good!!! v. 17 “I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me”.

For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. Proverbs 8:35

“For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord” I met a man in a restaurant today and he said to me that he is looking at 2022 as the year of favor!

I find it so interesting that Solomon wrote of Wisdom as if she were a person - a noble, beautiful, helpful woman in contrast to the immoral women described yesterday in Proverbs 7. “Listen to my instruction and be wise: do not disregard it”.
