Godhead The first article of faith of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints states, “We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.” These three beings make up the Godhead. They preside over this world and all other creations of our Father in Heaven. Latter-day Saints view the members of the Godhead in a manner that corresponds in a number of ways with the views of others in the Christian world, but with significant differences. Latter-day Saints pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. They acknowledge the Father as the ultimate object of their worship, the Son as Lord and Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit as the messenger and revealer of the Father and the Son. But where Latter-day Saints differ from other Christian religions is in their belief that God and Jesus Christ are glorified, physical beings and that each member of the Godhead is a separate being. The true doctrine of the Godhead was lost in the apostasy that followed the Savior’s mortal ministry and the deaths of His Apostles. This doctrine began to be restored when 14-year-old Joseph Smith received his First Vision (see Joseph Smith-History 1:17). From the Prophet’s account of the First Vision and from his other teachings, we know that the members of the Godhead are three separate beings. The Father and the Son have tangible bodies of flesh and bones, and the Holy Ghost is a personage of spirit (see Doctrine and Covenants 130:22). Although the members of the Godhead are distinct beings with distinct roles, they are one in purpose and doctrine. They are perfectly united in bringing to pass Heavenly Father’s divine plan of salvation.

My grandfather was a physicist who didn’t believe in God. He seemingly had a rational scientific explanation for everything. As he got older he shared with me that the more he tried to disprove the existence of God the more evident it became to him that God exists. In his final days he took solace in the fact that through his younger years of trying to disprove or explain away the devine God he actually proved his existence. Once he retired sometimes I would see him sitting for hours upon hours reading and studying the Bible when I would go visit him and my grandmother. He wanted to learn all he could about his creator. He would try to read anything he could get his hands on pertaining to Jesus Christ. His prayers were very important to him. He was always a kind and funny person, but I noticed over the years after he found God he had this spark of life in him and he appreciated the nuances of life more. The man went to his grave baptized and a firm believer in God and his only begotten son. His life's journey had taken him home back to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All praise be to God the Almighty, through him all things are possible.

I was born into a Muslim family and it was forced upon me. I never felt a connection to God. Never felt my soul being loved by God. Lost all faith in religion and adopted the mantra "do good be good" and still felt empty. I was beyond discouraged but I still believed there was a God. I believe in him because of how I got my name. My parents went to get a pregnancy check up on me and it didnt go as planned. They wanted to run some more tests but some tests came back with news that one of three things would happen (I cant remember which one): I would be born with a hole in my heart, I would be born with scoliosis, or I would be born mentality handicapped and would need help my whole life. Of course my parents where distraught and worried about their future child. My dad left the room to let my mom get some sleep and as she was sleeping, she heard someone call her name. She wakes up and looks around and doesnt see anyone. So she starts to relax and almost falls asleep again. She hears her name being called again. This time she shot up and was like ok maybe im just exhausted and anxious and im hallucinating because no one is here. Once again she starts to relax again and almost falls asleep and she said she heard "Amy. You will have a healthy baby boy and you will name him Jibril." This name has protected me during 9/11 because i was supposed to be named Hussein. God has lead me to the path of salvation through suffering and even being disowned by them, he was guiding me to live according to his plan. I have never felt so spiritually, physically, and emotionally full until i accepted Jesus Christ this year. God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good.

I was in a middle of a miracle when I was 10, my dad was a drinker, smoker and never went to chuch, but when he listened to Kent Hovind. He later studied everything if the evolution theory is wrong, went to buy more books about evolution and creation. He gave his heart to the Lord after that. He also started to read the Bible(KJV), he always said that it is the most accurate and was written out of the dead sea scrolls. I saw a miracle again, there was a trail of fire on the mountains it grew longer, visible to the naked eye. It almost burned our houses when it came closer everyday and night. I cried and prayed because my mom did the same thing. They said on the weather news that there won't be any rain after two weeks. There was just smoke all around us. I prayed and prayed and then i felt a drop of water, the smoke became rain clouds. The trail of Fire started to extinguished, there was also one fireman helicopter in our town and it couldn't just be that for that size of fire. It rained. It was in my home country, South Africa that it happened. My dad geve up everything to believe in God, and you told me he isn't real. I saw a lot of miracles, maybe atheist never saw a miracle or blame God of something in the past. I don't want to argue so I rather pray for them than fight. I also chose a hard path like being a Conservationist yet other people like me try to prove He doesn't exist, God works in mysterious ways, I don't even understand it but I feel he saved me a bunch of times and I didn't even thanked him enough. He save everybody even my grandpa who gave is heart to the Lord and past away the week after, I know where he is now and I know where I go at least in the afterlife.

Recombinant DNA- anytime a host cell is attached by another cell it dies. It’s a death program every time! The atomic weights table with all of the elements, and some of them would explode apart when put together ! How did this & the South American dart frog, whose skin is 200 times stronger than morphine at times, evolve without killing itself & everything around it? At the current rate of erosion the continents would have eroded flat in 14 million years! how come we have Rocks 300 times older than that still above sea level ? Atoms and molecules are 99.99% empty space with electrons circling the nucleus constantly. Thus Making solid objects impossible without God setting the laws of physics. Electromagnetic fields, or the four forces would interfere with each other! without God, you have no stabilizing force. The strongest destructive force controlled by man is tearing apart one of God’s smallest building blocks. Forcefully changing unstable atoms can destroy a city, forcefully changing more unstable atoms will destroy a small country. Concerning atoms and the things that are made, Jesus holds them all together so they don’t explode apart! Colossians 1: 16 For by Jesus were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him! The sun loses 5,000,000 tons of mass per second so it couldn’t be bigger or heavier, Its gravity would suck all the planets in. There are no transitional fossils between monkey and man, so evolutionists have changed their theory on that! Lying Evolutionary atheists fabricated, Nebraska man, Piltdown man, and Lucy, and they were found out to be fake skeletons! First law of thermodynamics and DNA need a creator. They both do not auto encrypt, nor were they capable of making themselves according to their own definitions. We’ve never seen evolution happen in real time in a laboratory, even up to this year, so why do you still believe in lies?

See my earlier comment - I was not aware of this quote but it is spot on. My question therefore is ‘why do so many believers, the speaker in this video included, feel the need to convince non-believers that their deity exists?’ The first part of Aquinas’ statement would imply that believers who do that measure the validity of their religion by the standards of non-believers. The fact that non-believers do not believe in a deity simply should not matter to believers. Period. And if you think the second part of the statement is true, recurrent attempts by believers to convince non-believers to abandon their world view is even more confounding…

I was an atheist before I hit a car with a motorcycle on September 11, 2002. There was no logical reason I am currently alive today. They called me a miracle. I went into a six week coma as one person and awoke as someone totally different. In the last 22 years I have experienced God in so many different ways. To keep this short, I will tell of the most significant experience. I had been on a long drive, and about 20 miles from home, I had a deep feeling someone else was in the truck I was driving. The feeling cannot be described using the American language as it was far too intense to do so. It was so pure and yet so raw, a love which permeated every cell of my body. I cried as one would expect, and I never wanted this drive to end. If I could bottle this feeling and just give you a small sample, there would be no such thing as an atheist. I am now a speaker on this subject and would love to share my story. If ever you wonder what heaven will feel like, I know. Give God a chance.

I suppose the contentiousness is derived from people living side by sude evrry day fundementally disagreeing on how the universe came into being. Further disagreements include those of what laws should apply. I, quite honestly, aleays fail to take true believers seriously as the notion that God should have come into being spontaniously is no more likely than that the universe did. Furthermore that His principles have not stood the test of time (gender roles for example) must surely disproves his omnipitence, as he must surely have been aware those millenia ago that the world wood change. But the bible does not account for this. Equally, you might argue this to be a point of contwntion with the church not God, to which i would reply that, if everyone is worshiping god wrong for fault of the church's misinterperetation, then even devoted christians must be doomed for hell. You dum dums are overcomplicated a simple solution to this oh so not complicated problem. Believe what you want, neither can actually be proven, get over yourself your religion is equally as likely to not be true and possibly even cease to exist like the plethora of other religions. and statistically speaking for the entirety of Christianity to be correct is basically 0. but sure you dum dums keep arguing over one of the many paradox of life. cause thats the whole point. it cant be answered yet you tards cant just accept one idea makes you feel safe at night. grow up nerds. your god (or lack thereof) does/doesn't exist. if you understand math and physics cause physics is actually what describes the world not math, math is the medium we used to measure it. anyway quantum mechanics state an observer changes the state an atom behaves, therefore according to quatum science its actually both do and do not exist simultaneously at the same time. so shut the **** up already and believe what you want it changes nothing.

My late father was an atheist and astronomer. He studied the Bible to prove it was a bunch of crap. At the same time, he also conducted astronomical observations at Palomar, California. There was then, in the 1960s, the largest optical telescope in the world. The effect was that he came to the conclusion that not only does the Bible make sense, not only that the universe could not have come into existence by itself, but also that there is no contradiction between religion and science, both fields complement each other.

light behaves as both particle and wave, this has been proved by de Broglie. But as a matter of fact light is neither a particle nor wave. The nature of light is limited by our imagination/technology Similarly we do not have the capability to imagine the clear picture of god. God is like my eternally loving mother and is the mother of all living and non-living, whom I find scary and at the same time I feel grateful. You are only scared of mother when you do bad things, and if you are regretful and amend your mistakes then your mother will forgive or lessen your punishment.

my understanding is that you pray to show devotion, because you have a desire to supplicate yourself before a greater power, and doing so before another human being feels abominable. Showing submission towards God pleases that not often recognized part of human psychology in a way that also reminds one to take stock of both the good and the bad in their life in a conscientious way, and still allows (but certainly doesn't encourage) an internal locus of control. It's certainly a healthier way to express this need than BDSM or OF participation, which I do think serve nearly identical purposes for the majority of practitioners.

Secondly, lets assume that God created the created part of the Universe. Ok, so what? Even Richard Dawkins admitted that a case could be made for a Deistic God, prime mover, etc... You don't like them because they are people with conservative values who take morality seriously, who love God. That'll make you look bad. So you have to redefine all of that as oppression to make your opposition to morality look like a moral stance. You have to pretend that we are against freedom because we exercise freedom responsibly and in a principled manner. Because freedom to you actually just means irresponsibility and decadence. And again, this is why “kuffar”-because it's lying, changing words for other words, mischaracterizing things to obscure reality. But you wouldn't do that if you thought you were right. You wouldn't have to be dishonest if you thought you were right. You wouldn't have to use deceitful language to make immoral things sound moral, if you didn't know, on some level, that you're wrong. Shaytan taught you this because that's how he pitches it to you. He makes the evil seem good because human beings want to be good, and they don't want to be evil in their heart of hearts. So, he (Shaytan) redefines immorality as morality, and then you run with it. But you know you're wrong, and that's really why Muslims make you so uncomfortable. And why you have to talk about the Taliban and all that to convince yourself that Shaytan's propaganda is true. So you can rationalize your disobedience to God as a good thing, rationalize the moral decay of your societies as a virtuous thing. It's a breathtaking level of dishonesty, and it's going to let you down. It is letting you down, and it is by far the most oppressive way to live your life. Because ultimately, immorality, irresponsibility, and selfishness are truly tyrannical and damaging. And the moral discipline that Muslims live by, the Sharia, is liberating and empowering. So you have to call what we follow oppressive, just to keep yourself from facing the oppression that you are actually under. [end]

There's no room full of spoiled children yelling out because they took one or two classes on something at the university, there's no slander or foul behavior attacks on the speaker, etc. It's just a room of educated individuals sharing their knowledge and why they believe what they do. Awesome speech. Loved it. And he nailed it with the personal connection. What's the point of worshipping a God that doesn't answer? We have a literal personal relationship with our Father in heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, the great comforter. You can do this in your closet. Behind closed doors, where nobody can see you. . The leap of faith it takes to go to your knees and humbly and sincerely request from Christ, is the most important step you will ever take. Ask him honestly to reveal himself to you. If you are sincere, you will be heard and answered.

“What’s the point of worshipping a God that doesn’t answer? We have a literal personal relationship.” Well the point could be that it calms your fear of death. The idea that you will truly never see the people you’ve loved and lost again or that one day you’ll just stop existing could be so painful that you imagine this relationship with a god that isn’t real. I’m totally conflicted. I used to have a really strong faith and it just evaporated when I lost my daughter. Now I’m completely an I Don’t Know-ist. I’m a huge critical thinker and I can usually argue both sides of something but never so strongly as the question of whether God is real or a fantasy. Inside I feel like you’d have to be an absolute moron to believe in God. At the exact same time, I feel like you’d have to be an absolute moron to not believe in God. It’s the weirdest thing. So I’m definitely not saying that I for sure know that the relationship you claim with God is wishful thinking on your part. I’m just offering an answer to your question of “what would be the point?”

🔥THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God saves man from the destruction of this old world" (God incarnate is called Christ, and Christ is the human body clothed by the Spirit of God. He is the incarnation of the Spirit. He has both normal humanity and full divinity. Whether human or it is His divinity, both of them submit to the will of the Father in heaven. The Spirit is the spirit of Christ, which means the divinity. This is what all people must understand. The spirit of the work of the Holy Spirit is to save man, and for the sake of God's own rule. Since God became flesh, He realizes His spirit within His human body, that His human body is sufficient to carry out His work. Whether it is the Spirit of God or whether it is Christ, both are God Himself, and He does the work He should do and fulfills the ministry He should perform.) Almighty God said GOD incarnate is called CHRIST, and CHRIST is the flesh clothed by the SPIRIT of GOD. 🙏 This human body is not like any human being in the flesh. This difference is because CHRIST is NOT made of FLESH and BLOOD; He is the incarnation of the SPIRIT. He has BOTH NORMAL HUMANITY and FULL DIVINITY. 🙏 No man possesses His divinity. His normal humanity sustains all His normal activities in the human body, while His divinity accomplishes the work of God Himself. Whether it is His humanity or His divinity, they both submit to the will of the Father in heaven. The SPIRIT is the SPIRIT of CHRIST, meaning the GOD HEAD. Therefore, His SPIRIT is GOD HIMSELF; this SPIRIT will not INTERFERE with His OWN WORK, and He cannot possibly do anything that would destroy His own work, nor will He utter any words that are contrary to His own will. ☀️ Therefore, God incarnate will absolutely never do any work that interferes with His own governance. This is what all people should understand. The INTENT of the WORK of the HOLY SPIRIT is to SAVE MAN, and for the SAKE of GOD'S OWN RULE. ☀️ Similarly, the work of CHRIST is also to SAVE MAN, and it is for the WILL of GOD. Since GOD HAS BEEN INCARNATED, He REALIZES His SPIRIT within His HUMAN BODY, that His HUMAN BODY is SUFFICIENT to CARRY OUT His WORK. 🙏 Therefore, ALL the WORKS of the SPIRIT of GOD were REPLACED by the WORKS of CHRIST during the INCARNATION, and at the CORE of all the WORKS during the ENTIRE INCARNATION was the WORKS of CHRIST. ☀️ It CANNOT be MIXED with WORK from ANY OTHER ERA. And SINCE GOD BECOMES FLESH, He WORKS in the IDENTITY of His FLESH; since He COMES in the HUMAN BODY, He thus FINISHES in the HUMAN BODY the WORK He has to DO. ☀️ Whether it is the SPIRIT of GOD or CHRIST, both of them are GOD HIMSELF, and He DOES the WORK that He should DO and PERFORMS the MINISTRY that He should PERFORM. 🙏 From "The Spirit of Christ is Obedience to the Will of the Father in Heaven" Fulfillment of "When I looked up, someone handed me a book wrapped in a scroll. I opened it and I read on both sides the prayers, sorrows, and curses." (Ezekiel 2:9-10). ... "His garment was stained with blood. He was called the "Word of God" (Rev. 19:13). Well yes I have little issue with religious empathy towards others I just have my tools to understand the universe a like better than simple faith. If you had the time and where with all to grasp the maths on the speed of light . This would take you r faith to a new level. The speed of light actually gives those who understand it a measure of gods realm “ a measure of its enormity? A realisation that earthly religions actually reduce god to something less. God bless you!

It’s not that technical really’ we start with 186,000 miles per second. , that’s 25 times around the earth in 1 seconds. Traveling at that speed for 1 year is referred to as 1 light years, the nearest star to earth other than our sun is 4 light years away. Science can now determine that there are over more than a million light years across this galaxy. No that is all gods realm. We can see from this just how futile earthly religions are.

Imagine an experienced homicide Detective seeing multiple dead bodies face down, bound, and gagged, and there is a man standing with a smoking gun in his hand, yet this Detective concludes that these people died from suicide. Any rational thinking person would immediately recognize the absurdity of such a conclusion. Yet, atheists are just like this "experienced" Detective so-called. In fact, atheists deny, and ignore, far more compelling evidence than this Detective. Bottom line is this: "Whose report will you believe?" John Lennox sees and proclaims the truth of God based on material evidence while using logic, and scientific reasoning. Where is the evidence that NOTHING ever produced ANYTHING, much less the cosmos, and everything in it?
