I have a few tips for you guys concerning your bearded dragon: 1) the counter is too cold for him. 2) try feeding him super worms, my bearded dragons love them 3) definitely don’t do sand at the bottom of the cage 4) if its beard turns black, don’t worry but don’t touch it

I hope the bearded dragon was okay because being in dark places such as that safe could stress them out. I know this because I own a bearded dragon for almost 3 years now. And let me tell you when they get older and when you do that to them like put them in the safe or scare them they have like this beard that can flare out like a dinosaur and that means that they are scared and defnensing themselves. So I recomend not to like put your bearded dragon in dark places especially when you just got him because thats when they are like settling in their new surroundings and trusting their owner. If you like put him in dark and scary places it could stress them out which could cause lost of trust in you guys. Animals have feelings too! :D
